On behalf of the entire ConVal community I extend my deepest sympathy to Brandons family and friends, Principal Brian Pickering said. We are all shocked and deeply saddened by his passing and we are incredibly grateful for his service to our country.
BUT, not so grateful of his service that they would let him wear his uniform at graduation ...
Marines used to be respected in this country.
Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooress is still in jail in Mexico
Screw the corksucking principle. Not wearing his uniform at graduation didn’t lessen the man that he is. He got that from his parents.
Sympathy after the fact is appereciated
Much better to acknowldged his service before his death .
Apparently , " Live Free ,..or die" is appropriate on license plates
but is not 'politically correct' for the living .
Stick the State motto up your muffler !!
I can’t understand why the DoD new release site is so slow to report this loss .
They still are, by real Americans...
Heartbreaking.
Back in the 60s whenever someone came home from the military they all visited their high school in uniform. The teachers praised them. And cops usually let us go with warning instead of giving us traffic tickets. Now days the cops shoot soldiers.
wonder if this school has ROTC? When I was in highschool back in the late 80s I saw alot of highschool ROTC wearing their uniform. What the heck has happened???
GTH, Pickering.
Liar!
Excuse me?
If he is active duty military he can wear his uniform anywhere he wants and NO ONE may stop him.
He simply should have worn it. What the hell would they do have him arrested?
Our Nation is going insane...............
