Attorney General Jeff Sessions is paving the way for a possible special counsel to investigate Uranium One and Hillary Clinton. In a letter Monday, the attorney general directed senior federal prosecutors to look into the sale of Uranium One, unlawful dealings of the Clinton Foundation, and James Comey’s handling of the Clinton email probe and dossier. The announcement comes after Representatives Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz delivered an ultimatum to the attorney general, telling him to launch an investigation or resign so they can appoint someone who will.

House Republicans launch a website blasting the media for focusing on “chaos,” rather than their accomplishments made during President Trump’s first 200 days in office. The website called “Did You Know” says the news has not been keeping Americans informed on all the legislation GOP lawmakers have passed in the House.

Went and early voted today. Had to wait in line to vote, first time. Had to wait for a voting both, first time, usually most are empty. Heard the poll watchers say that over 700 people voted today at my location, which is unheard of in our little municipality in one day. While I was there, out of about 30 people, 28 asked for Republican Ballots and 2 asked for Democrat Ballots. Could have been some cross-over voters, but I really don't think so.

The Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth is on lock down because of a suspicious package. A spokesperson for the base said the package was found inside of a vehicle at the main gate around 9:30 a.m. Thursday. The NAS-JRB and Fort Worth Police Department bomb squads have responded to the threat.

KABUL (Reuters) – Medical aid group Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF) said on Thursday it was hard to believe a U.S. strike on an Afghan hospital last month was a mistake, as it had reports of fleeing people being shot from an aircraft. At least 30 people were killed when the hospital in Kunduz was hit by the strike on Oct. 3 while Afghan government forces were battling to regain control of the northern city from Taliban forces who had seized it days earlier.

Second Amendment groups are accusing the gun control lobby of putting law-abiding owners of firearms in danger by urging people to call the police on anyone carrying a gun in public. The White House said Monday that the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing will not be treated as an enemy combatant, in response to calls from Republican lawmakers to consider that option. The announcement came as a sealed complaint was filed against suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Fox News has learned that the suspect made an initial appearance in front of a federal magistrate judge at the hospital where he is still being treated. No plea was entered.
