Makes perfect sense: Christians can now lie, murder, dishonor their parents, break the Sabbath (oh, that’s right - today’s Christian don’t even know when the Sabbath is), covet, commit adultery, etc. - Piper claims to be Reformed but is nothing but a Pied Piper leading flocks astray.

According to Romans 2:28-29 all disciples of Christ (the Hebrew word is Messiah) are to be circumcised inwardly in the heart. Gentiles are no longer gentiles because they have been adopted by God our Father, grafted in to the Vine. All believers are to be holy (which literally means to be separated - from the world, which is the Hebrew name for Gentiles or ‘goyim.’

Messiah said, “If you LOVE me, KEEP my COMMANDMENTS.” John 14:15 Since the gospel hadn’t been written when He said those words, CLEARLY He is referring back to Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings of the Old Covenant. 2 John 1:6 defines exactly what LOVE means: “And this is love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.”

What part of “And this is love” doesn’t anyone get? So God=LOVE=keepin His commandments. Makes sense because the commandments mirror the character and attributes of Almighty God. His Law which is His Word is manifested in the new hearts of all He has written His Law upon (see Jer.31:31-34; Ezek.36:24-28; 2Cor.3:3; Heb.8:10; 10:16

But the apostate “church” left the Law of the LORD (which is perfect and converts the soul: Ps.19:7) centuries ago. The modern whore knows nothing or very little about the Feast Days of the LORD, the Sabbath, or Torah in general. These are eternal and perpetual holy days as commanded by the Most High and the book of Revelation is replete with allusions to this truth.

Instead they teach Christ Mass which isn’t Messiah’s birth and Easter, a pagan name for an eastern fertility goddess. The way of Messiah is narrow and few there be that find it. Leave the harlot Babylon now and seek the LORD while He may be found. Do you really think a Holy God and His Messiah, King of Israel are to be found in today’s modern buildings masquerading as His church? That’s insanity!

Even a stopped clock is correct twice a day. He is correct that the biggest threat to the world is the declining societal and cultural moral breakdown of the West. Be careful Michael. Intelligent discourse on any subject could be subjectively viewed as religious hate speech. No speech, no matter how vile to the ears of the hearer or whatever feelings they unleash, should promulgate violence. In our society, free speech is not dependent on whether it makes someone angry and I find it ironic that someone like Bill Press who consistently pushes the idea of separation of church and state would find it somehow necessary to define who are “true Christians.”

Bill Press is certainly no one I would look to teach Bible doctrine. For someone who supports the murder of the unborn and homosexual marriage, Bill Press has zero credibility with respect to Christian faith. So how would he know what a true Christian is? He can’t. He is blind spiritually. Christ said, “Unless a man is born again (Greek: ‘from above’), he cannot SEE the kingdom of God. Therefore Press has no authority to make any pronouncements in this area because Press directly contradicts Holy Biblical Scripture in his personal views. Christ said we would know His disciples by their fruits. Concerning Press, the Bible says:

“These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds [they are] without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.” Jude 1:12-13

Stating that Mohammed is a false prophet and Allah is nothing more than one of the pantheon of gods in pre-Islamic Arabia chosen because he was one of the most popular - may make 1.2 billion Muslims angry, but this should open a dialogue concerning what is true history and nature of their faith, not incite ignorant violence.

Unfortunately we’re dealing with a religion which refuses rational discourse because no one can question the “prophet.” A Muslim cannot leave Islam under penalty of death. Other religions are subjugated, must pay an extortion tax, and are considered “dhimmmis” - a derogatory term with less rights than Muslims under Sharia law. Jews are considered pigs and Christians dogs. All infidels under the Koran subject to death if they don’t submit. They cannot evangelize (a commandment for Christians) and no new churches can be built.

Until Islam has a reformation and these nations develop a verifiable Bill of Rights where all religions can operate equally, the West needs to understand we are in a long term war with a religion bent on world domination. This will never happen because Islam is a house of cards built on a lie. This is why Mohammed used violence and it continues to be the vehicle for spreading its wicked ideology.

No one is denying the decency of Mormons as human beings. There was a historic Jesus. 27 books and 9 separate historic real life authors (8 if the apostle Paul wrote the book of Hebrews) with countless (over 500 at a single event) witnesses to Christ's actual physical resurrection. The prophecies of the purposes of Christ, his coming, his life, his death, and resurrection, and eventual return are listed throughout the Law of Moses (Torah), the Prophets, the Psalms, etc.

The comparison of Christianity to other religions is not valid since most are philosophical in nature. None of them has a founder who made the claims of Jesus Christ - that he is the Creator, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He predicted his own death and resurrection. His life is not based on legends - all of the New Testament documents were penned within 50 years of the events surrounding his life. The adherents of the faith did not kill to evangelize but were killed and martyred because they refused to renounce what they had witnessed and experienced.

Christianity is the promise of Judaism fulfilled: that the Seed of Abraham, the Root of David, the Stem of Jesse, the One who is called the Branch would come and not only save his people Israel but would be a Light to the Gentiles. We gentiles will be forever grateful that we have had access to salvation through the nation of Israel and its Messiah!

Only 8% of evangelical Christians have any concept or understanding of orthodox Christian doctrine and can defend their faith intelligently. This is why our nation is in the condition in which it stands today.

You answered your own question that an intelligent source designed it. When you speak of a “living thing adapting” don't you see the difference between reacting to our outside environment and changes on the cellular level are analogous to the profound differences of Newtonian physics and Einstein's world of subatomic particle physics? Cells don't “know” about what we encounter and they can't make rational choices. They can only react in a preprogrammed way to outside stimuli whether it be chemical, radiation, etc.

You state that all living things are capable of some level of sense perception. But why would they develop these sense systems originally since they would have no idea that the outside stimuli (sight, hearing, taste, touch, smell) even existed. So what do you base this upon?

The idea that living organisms contain many of the same features and functions among species proving evolution also falls flat when you consider a unicycle, bicycle, tricycle, car, and jet plane - all have wheels but only a simpleton would rationalize that the jet evolved from a unicycle. The devices all posit an intelligent designer who could have used aspects of one device when engineering the next.

As for the programming aspect your argument confirms my reasoning - YOU as a designer improve the program, the program doesn't improve itself.

AIDS is a lentivirus (a slow moving virus) and part of a group called rhino-viruses. It is NOT a new species. Viruses by their NATURE are programmed to modify themselves to ADAPT. The flu does this every year. Yet no one sees the flu becoming a new species. It is still the flu. Forms of AIDS have been discovered in monkeys and now scientists are stating it may have been around in different ADAPTED forms for centuries. If humanity hadn't been consuming AIDS-tainted monkey meat (SIV), the transfer between species would probably never have occurred.

If you put up an umbrella in the rain, wear shorts in the summer, or put on a heavy coat in the cold - you don't become a new species. You've simply ADAPTED to your environment. Speaking a different language doesn't make you a different species. It means you have ADAPTED to the cultural environment you're in.

Molecular biologists are not moving towards Darwinism as fact. The truth is they are seeing errors and holes throughout its theories. If the same rigor surrounding math and physics were applied to the field of evolution, it would collapse like a house of cards. Many of its greatest adherents are secular philosophers who couch their arguments using scientific terms but cannot prove evolution because it is not a repeatable process and fails under the guiding principles used for science. I would posit the real driving force is the desire to eliminate God and the very element of moral influence which pervades American thought and the world view of Christians.

Copernicus, Galileo, Newton, Kepler - all Christians. Christians embrace God and the knowledge that the discoveries of science time and time again demonstrates the Creator who put these things in place.

Darwinism is nothing but a flat-earth theory for biology in a 21st century world. And just as the world hated those who spoke of our planet as a round orb or the sun as the center of our solar system - in time Darwin and his theories will be exposed for the many deficiencies, outright lies, and manipulated fraud to push an agenda.

Since Darwin had no method to see, understand, or comprehend the incredible complex engineering which takes place within the cell (the invention of the electron microscope and the discovery of the double-helix DNA strand were decades away), we must ponder the question: does the cell possess the intelligence or engineered capability to discern what is a positive external influence or what will have a negative impact on it’s existence and/or future?

Negative influences result in the death of the cell, its impairment (benign), or malignant cancerous activity. Positive gain in genetic material results in such anomalies as Down’s Syndrome, Tay Sachs, or Sickle Cell Anemia. Hardly an evolutionary gain for our species.

The amount of data in a single strand of DNA has been compared to the Library of Congress. As a network engineer I know that changes in data do not improve a program, they render it useless or problematic at best. Ever have a corrupted program on your computer spontaneously develop new and improved features?

Evolution contradicts the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics and the truth is we are seeing many species which have gone extinct over time (even before the Industrial Revolution) for a variety of reasons. We are not finding newly evolved species. Adaptation is NOT evolution! The example of a bird’s beak growing longer during periods of drought does not prove evolution, it simply shows an adaptive built-in mechanism which was pre-engineered. The proof: the same beak will retract to its original size when the drought ends.

Does anyone think that at the sub-cellular level decisions are being made to evolve with the environment? Hardly. There is no mental, thought-revolving tool at that level and the brain cannot “will” cells to spontaneously evolve in accordance with circumstance (otherwise we’d all grow wings and fly to work when rush hour occurs).

At the end of the day, the best of the best scientists have not a clue as to how life started other than the backs of crystals with 250 complex protein strands coming together in precisely the correct order. Try taking 4 dice and rolling them 250 times in an exact numerical sequence - it isn’t happening. It is mathematically next to impossible. Even if it did once, the chances of such a cell spontaneously developing the tools to regenerate, exchange gases, excrete waste, take in nutrients, etc. are infinitesimal plus the chances of surviving for any length of time in a brutal environment make this an impossible proposition.

And I haven’t even touched upon the genesis of the universe and all of the laws of physics and mathematics which conveniently came into being existence. Everything points to Intelligent Design and an Intelligent Designer though the term “God” frightens the essence of every secularist. They would gladly prefer the terms “seeding” and “aliens” that God - but where would they have come from (no doubt in their minds a Darwinian evolution)?

My understanding is Obama needed someone to answer his phone at 3am and (according to the protest signs at her presidential rallies) iron his shirts. Clearly, this is a win-win for Obama (sarcasm!)

These anti-God groups are also rabid evolutionists - anything that contradicts the Bible. So let me ask a simple rhetorical question about genetics: if homosexuals believe in evolution and evolution suggests the survival of the fittest... doesn't a trait that can't reproduce contradict the theory? Either the trait should have died off through natural selection OR it is a genetic anomaly which should be researched for a cure. If someone has an alcoholism gene or genetic predisposition to sickle cell anemia or breast cancer - do we celebrate that or research it for a cure? Will they accept a cure?

Did anyone bother to tell this RINO nitwit that 3 more states outlawed same-sex marriage fraud? Even in ultra-liberal California it was overturned. Seems no matter where the people get to vote on this issue, it is overturned. Two things shocked and revolted me about Bill's "Talking Points":

1) Bill made reference to "pulling the plug" on Terri. What an ignorant remark. She is NOT on life support!!! She is NOT on a ventilator. She is NOT on a heart-lung machine. This is about providing her with food and water. If a death row inmate or a terrorist were being deprived food and water, the ACLU and every liberal group in America would be screaming and up in arms. If she were a fur seal or an endangered species and basic nutrition was being deprived, the NY Times, the Washington Post, ABCNBCCBSCNN, and NPR would be editorializing (probably blaming Bush) against such mistreatment.

2) Bill referred to Michael Schiavo as "her husband." And this is where the legal system has gone so far astray. He is in an adulterous relationship that has produced 2 children. Any half-wit can see the blatant conflict of interest that exists here. Michael Schiavo should have been removed from the case years ago. Husband? No. Adulterer? Yes. And it could be argued bigamist. Unless Florida statute allows for this, his behavior should have resulted in a divorce decree.

Shame on Bill. I am normally a fan of his, but he came to the table on this one misinformed and looking ridiculous. I also find his Catholic-optional behavior sad. He complains about the secular drift of society and then he bends his knee at the philosophical altar of humanism.
