After one day of trial, the situation just took a bleak turn for Pastor Andrew. At the conclusion of the first day of his trial – a day filled with video testimony of secret prosecution witnesses whose voices and appearances were disguised – the Turkish judge ordered that Pastor Andrew be returned to the notoriously overcrowded and grim prison, where Pastor Brunson was originally imprisoned. The judge refused to release Pastor Andrew. The judge ordered that the trial not resume until May 7th.

After more than three hours of impassioned public comment Monday night, Charlotte City Council approved new legal protections for gay, lesbian and transgender people – a decision that will likely provoke a battle with the General Assembly, which could nullify the city’s historic vote. My son just graduated from college and is moving to San Jose CA from North Carolina to work at Silicon Valley. He is a believer in Christ and would like to find a Bible-believing church as soon as he can after moving. He doesn't know anyone there so he's starting his new life at ground zero. On March 20, in Greenville, N.C., a federal jury unanimously sided with me in my claims that the University of North Carolina–Wilmington (UNCW) violated federal law in a 2006 promotion decision. Marines at Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan will lose a key daily meal starting Saturday, causing some to forgo a hot breakfast and others to work six-plus hours without refueling on cooked food, according to Marines at the base and Marine Corps officials. The midnight ration service — known there as “midrats" — supplies breakfast to Marines on midnight-to-noon shifts and dinner to Marines who are ending noon-to-midnight work periods. It's described as one of the few times the Marines at Leatherneck can be together in one place.
