After claiming not to use email while Secretary of State, it has been discovered that Hillary Clinton in fact had private email addresses. This information was obtained in a shady manner by a hacker who called himself Guccifer. Much of the information was originally hacked from old Clinton hack Sydney Blumenthal. It appears that in addition to various personal greetings and inquiries Blumenthal send Hillary what he described as confidential information about Libya. Hillary’s problems at least start with Guccifer, they continue with 50,000 pages worth of documents she provided to the State Department in relation to the House Benghazi...

Austria has just made a new law: Muslim imams will no longer be able to conduct their sermons in Arabic, but in German; all Korans will now have to be written completely in German, and Muslim groups will no longer be able to accept foreign money. I did a whole video on this: (Video at link) The updated “Law on Islam,” which was prepared by the coalition of the Social Democratic Party and the People’s Party, aims to regulate how Islam is managed inside the country, and includes provisions requiring imams to be able to speak German, standardizing the Quran...

The quality of the operator that you contact with a 911 call varies greatly. Some departments start their officers as dispatchers, so that they understand what is happening on the other end of the line; in some jurisdictions, the job is a political plum to be awarded; in others the position is a heavily protected union job. In many departments, the person answering the 911 call is a dispatcher; in others there are separate operators that hand the call to dispatchers. In all cases, the operator or dispatcher is not there with you; they do not know what you...

House Leaders Surrender On DHS Funding THE EDITORS March 3, 2015 The House has passed a bill funding the Department of Homeland Security in its entirety through the remainder of the fiscal year, ending with a whimper, not a bang, a weeks-long standoff over House Republicans’ efforts to defund President Obama’s executive amnesty. That cannot come as much surprise. Republican leaders never showed much commitment to making a sustained public case against the president’s executive amnesty, and their public lack of enthusiasm was bound to create suspicions among, and exacerbate tensions with, grassroots conservatives infuriated by the president’s distaste for...

I can only imagine what this is going to cost us HEY! Great news! It’s VACATION TIME!!! Actually, most of us can’t take a vacation because we all need to WORK! But this is not the case for our ROYAL FAMILY! Yes, Michelle Obama is planning a nice little vacation for her and the 2 girls they claim are their ‘daughters…’ Will it be a spot on the beach for $65 a night? I mean, camping at the beach, having an awesome campfire, barbecuing up some burgers and dogs, slamming down a few brews- it doesn’t get much better than...

...Over Iran Nukes Speech to Congress Nobody on Obama’s staff has the power to speak this viciously and forcefully, to make crystal clear threats like this against a world leader, to the press, other than Valerie Jarrett. Plus, the sense of being so very PERSONALLY offended, so PERSONALLY invested in the President, is only going to come from Valerie Jarrett, we all know that. And lastly, the threatening language, the raging, vindictive arrogance are all Valerie’s emotional and rhetorical signatures. Take it to the bank that it was her. And it is beyond outrageous that she attacks Netanyahu as if...

Now that the pervasive invasion of your privacy is complete, it is now time to conduct a full frontal assault on your minds, . . . and this battering will also not hurt. The secret is in the subtlety of the assault. The invasion of your privacy, yes your privacy, you know that thing you treasure so much, that space you think is your private domain, is complete and it’s not private anymore. The invasion didn’t hurt so much did it? You accepted and swallowed the fear-of-terrorism wafer, which justified all invasions of private space. Were you offended? Were you...

No more Department of Education, no more Department of Human Resources, no more IRS, no more Federal Reserve Bank, no more Energy Department, no more stealing, cheating, fraud, and NO MORE LIES!!! “The president has far exceeded his constitutional authority. … We all want to do things to stop the president from his illicit activity.” - House Speaker John Boehner “It is time to allow this Homeland Security funding measure to come to the floor. This is our colleagues’ chance to do exactly what they led their constituents to believe they’d do: defend the rule of law, without more excuses.”...

In spite of the overwhelming success of American Sniper, it received only one Oscar out of the six categories for which it was nominated. It was a consolation prize most likely—one that allowed the Academy to maintain their façade of integrity, while not causing Hollywood liberals' heads to explode. But this isn’t about the public sensation the film has become. It’s about another phenomenon: the predictable reactions that came from the left. There’s no need to detail or recap the antagonism. But now that the furor of angry and confused criticism is beginning to subside to non-toxic levels, I think...

Arkansas became a constitutional carry state in August of 2013. It took about a year and a half, dozens of open carry marches, and a change of the Attorney General, for that fact to be generally recognized. The picture above is one of the marches taking place in Little Rock. I do not recall a single marcher ever being arrested for carrying a firearm. From thv11.com: In 2013, former attorney general Dustin McDaniel issued an opinion saying he did not consider Arkansas an open carry state under act 746. We asked new attorney general Leslie Rutledge about her interpretation...

In an interview with Sean Hannity, former speaker and 2012 presidential candidate, Newt Gingrich remarked that, Obama's refusal to meet with Israeli Prime Minister, Bibi Netanyahu helped to "turn the speech into a world-wide event". He further commented that weeks earlier when it became public that Obama would not be meeting with Netanyahu during his visit, immediate requests for tickets exceeded the house capacity by 2,500 seats. He added that, "Netanyahu's popularity among both sides of the isle was so great, that it took him much longer to make his way to the podium than it does Obama prior to...

2003-05-31 04:00:00 PDT Washington -- A federal judge ruled Friday that Iran was behind the 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut that killed 241 U.S. servicemen, clearing the way for more than 600 of their relatives to collect financial damages against the Islamic republic. In a 30-page decision that resulted from a lawsuit filed by the families, U. S. District Judge Royce Lamberth wrote that the terrorist group Hezbollah had carried out the attack at the behest of Iran and its Ministry of Information and Security. "The approval of both the Ayatollah Khomeini and President Rafsanjani was absolutely...

In an open letter released on Tuesday, Wisconsin governor Scott Walker said he would sign legislation banning most abortions after the fifth month of pregnancy, the point after which infants can feel pain and survive if born prematurely. "As the Wisconsin legislature moves forward in the coming session, further protections for mother and child are likely to come to my desk in the form of a bill to prohibit abortions after 20 weeks. I will sign that bill when it gets to my desk and support similar legislation on the federal level," Walker wrote. "I was raised to believe in...

By this measure, the U.S. scores very poorly: 4 out of a possible 5 on the Fragility Index. There is a certain logic to the idea that stability is a good predictor for future stability: if a nation's economy and governance are stable and devoid of disorder, this trajectory of stability will be durable, right? Well, actually, no. Nassim Nicholas Taleb and co-author Gregory F. Treverton argue in their essay The Calm Before the Storm: Why Volatility Signals Stability and Vice Versathat "the best indicator of a country’s future stability is not past stability but moderate volatility in the relatively recent past." Taleb and...

The House on Tuesday admitted defeat after a month-long effort to defund President Barack Obama’s executive action on immigration, and passed a Department of Homeland Security funding bill that leaves Obama’s plan intact. The vote came after dozens of House Republicans fought to the bitter end to reject the “clean” DHS bill, in an effort to oppose what they see as an unconstitutional action from Obama. The House passed the bill 257-167, and sending it to the White House for Obama’s signature into law. In the end, 167 Republicans voted against the Senate’s version of the bill. But because the...
