As gay marriage continues marching it's way through the country via our judicial oligarchical overlords, we're constantly told that there's no way the government will ever go after the Church for not performing gay marriage. But that ignores the ideological blinders of bureaucrats. You think they won't come after the Church's tax exemption for their refusal to acknowledge and perform gay marriage? To witness the idiotic lengths these Orwellian knuckleheads will go to, check out this story from Moonbattery :Arizona is defying a federal order to eliminate apartments for deaf seniors at a housing complex built specifically — for the...

We have a great little movie theater in our neighborhood. It has just three screens, but it always shows the newest releases. The best parts of the movie experience at our little theater are the food and the seating. We get to sit at tables in nice, padded chairs on a gently sloping floor. We can order real food to eat, including salads, burgers and chicken wings, regular and alcoholic beverages, and the most awesome chocolate, chocolate-chip cake (with ice cream, of course!) We used to not go to the movies very often, but our little neighborhood theater has drawn...

Iowa law enforcement officials are debating the wisdom of granting gun permits to blind people. Blind people and other Iowans can obtain the permits for carrying a weapon in public because of changes to state law that took effect in 2011. A hard to read, hard to believe, hard to write about communique from South Florida Tea Party sources involves the alleged real reasons General David Petreaus “was forced out a few days before the Benghazi hearings.” Citing the stand down orders, the stupid video, and the pulled security, this memo makes a convincing case that a failed October Surprise kidnap event of the U.S. diplomat had a political backdrop involving the impending election. Various background data mentioned in this bulletin contain a tit for tat exchange of Mission Chief Chris Stevens for the Blind Sheik, Omar Abdel Rahman who was...

I’m standing on the sand of La Jolla Shores on Friday morning. Out in the water, a blind man stands up on his surf board, and for a moment I feel like I actually might burst into tears. A guy who can’t see has shown me that anything is possible. Derek Rabelo does not stay up long on this first ride of the day. No one would have. The wind is mild. The water is glassy, its waist-high waves more crumbling than crashing. But these few seconds are enough to confirm for me that too much time is spent focused...
