Liberals don't like blacks that much. Witness Samantha Bee and her husband fighting so hard to keep disadvantaged kids from coming to their Little Darlings' school. They only love the sense of superiority, of being The White Hero, they get from white-knighting for their favored perpetual racial damsels. The Southern Poverty Law Center has fired Morris Dees, the nonprofit civil rights organization's co-founder and former chief litigator. A 1994 Mongomery Advertiser series of articles about the Hate Organization found that Dees, despite posing as a crusader for blacks, actually... kinda hated blacks and didn't mind who knew it. --- The...

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), one of the country’s most well-funded “anti-hate” organizations, announced Thursday that it has fired its founder Morris Dees, suggesting in a statement that misconduct played a role in the decision. “Effective yesterday, Morris Dees’ employment at the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) was terminated. As a civil rights organization, the SPLC is committed to ensuring that the conduct of our staff reflects the mission of the organization and the values we hope to instill in the world,” SPLC president Richard Cohen said in a statement. When one of our own fails to meet those...

The Alabama-based Southern Poverty Law Center, a nationally known nonprofit that monitors hate organizations, said Thursday it had fired co-founder Morris Dees, who once won a lawsuit that bankrupted a leading Ku Klux Klan group. A statement by Richard Cohen, the president of the law center, said Dees' employment had been terminated, but it did not give a specific reason. "As a civil rights organization, the SPLC is committed to ensuring that the conduct of our staff reflects the mission of the organization and the values we hope to instill in the world. After President Donald Trump agreed on Friday to open the government for three weeks, Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA), the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) should just give the State of the Union address “since she’s obviously the one running the country.” Congressmember Bass ✔ @RepKarenBass .@SpeakerPelosi should give the State of the Union since she's obviously the one running the country. In August, a photo surfaced of a boy in an Afro wig with makeup-darkened skin standing in for 11-year-old African-American actor Keith L. Williams on the Vancouver set of “Good Boys,” a comedy about three sixth-graders who ditch school and wind up on a road trip. The image sparked online outrage, and Seth Rogen, one of the film’s producers, quickly apologized, declaring that on all future projects his team would “take every precaution to make sure something similar does not take place again.” It turned out that the boy in the makeup, reportedly the son of a stuntman, was African-American...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Gosh, so hard to imagine why this would be the case, right? – A new Columbia Journalism Review poll finds that trust in our fake news media has pretty much gone as low as it can go, with the only group expressing a more positive than negative view of the press being … wait for it… DEMOCRATS. Because of course the group in our society whose personal biases are the same as those reporting and shaping what passes for the “news” these days are going to tend to trust the press. I...

LAMAR, S.C. (WPDE) — An incident report from Lamar police said a substance found two weeks ago on two cars belonging to Lamar Mayor Darnell Byrd-McPherson has a yellowish tint to it and that it's a type of powder similar to pollen. Byrd-McPherson said someone came onto her property back on Feb. 7 and vandalized her cars. She initially said the incident may be that of a hate crime. Byrd-McPherson said Wednesday the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) was unable to make a determination of the substance because no sample was taken by the Lamar Police Department.

Lara Logan, former correspondent for “60 Minutes,” caused a stir last week when, on a podcast called “Mike Drop,” she said that too many in the media have become “political activists.” -SNIP- Journalists are not activists. We may share the passion for a particular cause, but our job is to follow the facts wherever they may lead. We can’t ignore something that reflects badly on a noble cause, as an activist might. We have to care about the means as much as the end because our duty is to search for the whole truth. -SNIP- It is a fact that...

Court documents show that Bill Clinton took at least 26 trips on convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein's notorious "Lolita Express" party plane. There's no indication that Donald Trump ever did. But in a segment on Epstein on her MSNBC show today, Joy Reid managed to refer to President Trump six times, accompanied by extended photo displays of Trump in Epstein's company. Number of times Reid mentioned Lolita Express frequent flyer Clinton? A New York bagel, of course. Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

A judge in North Carolina on Friday tossed out the state's constitutional amendment requiring a voter ID, citing prevalent gerrymandering in the state's General Assembly. Wake County Superior Court Judge G. Bryan Collins wrote in a ruling late Friday afternoon that the North Carolina General Assembly is so gerrymandered that its members do not truly represent the state's residents and thus should never have proposed a voter ID amendment in the first place. “An illegally constituted General Assembly does not represent the people of North Carolina and is therefore not empowered to pass legislation that would amend the state’s constitution,”...

Statue vandals seem to have mistaken WWII hero for Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee, museum officials say Vandals in North Carolina may be in need of a history lesson after having set fire to a statue honoring a World War II hero they apparently mistook for a Confederate general, officials said earlier this week. A white marble monument of U.S. Army Maj. Gen. William C. Lee, who commanded the 101st Airborne Division's "Screaming Eagles" during World War II, was doused with flammable liquid and set on fire last week, museum officials said. The statue bears black scorch marks running up...

Establishment media journalists and pundits uncritically accepted and promoted Jussie Smollett’s elaborate “hate crime” story, just one week after the mainstream media fostered the false narrative surrounding the Covington Catholic students, resulting in a laundry list of impending defamation lawsuits. Here’s 12 establishment media commentators and journalists who fueled the Jussie Smollett flames with impassioned and uncritical reactions to the Empire actor’s imaginative account of his supposed run-in with Trump supporters in “MAGA country” Chicago. 1. Police sources believe that, as many had suspected, "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett perpetrated an enormous hoax on the American public by staging a phony hate crime. Now we're waiting for apologies from the celebrities and top Democrats who not only expressed sympathy for the supposed victim of violent hate, but turned around and cited President Trump and his supporters as having somehow inspired the attack. Which was itself pretty foolish, since much of his story seemed implausible from the start. For one thing, Smollett's account of what took place in the frigid early-morning hours of Jan. 29 kept changing. Smollett...

Former federal housing agency director Mel Watt, who represented Charlotte in the U.S. Congress for more than two decades, misused his position to pursue a relationship with a woman working for him, according to a formal inquiry by the agency’s Inspector General. Watt was head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, which currently oversees Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, from 2014 through January when his five-year term expired. Simone Grimes, a special adviser at the agency, claimed that the 73-year-old Watt sexually harassed her and did not promote her when she declined his advances. Grimes also filed a pay discrimination...
