Surprise! Beyonce and Jay Z have dropped a surprise album and single. It’s available on their Tidal service, but the single and video are here. “Ape-sh*t” is terrific. What a nice summer surprise. But why a Saturday at 6pm? Just to see who’s paying attention? It does like the Louvre Museum in Paris let them shoot the video there. If so, that would be history making. But money talks, and even the Louvre needs surprise cash.

The superstar couple are struggling to get bums on seats and UK fans are being handed freebies and upgrades The superstar couple have thousands of unsold tickets for their UK dates, forcing them to cover large sections of seating in the stadium venues. Fans outside their Glasgow concert reported being handed freebies while others said they were offered upgrades for nothing. One wrote on Twitter: “If you are near Hampden Park go to the main parking lot they are giving out free tickets for the Beyoncé & Jay Z concert because of empty seats.” Another tweeted: “Met Beyoncé’s security in...

Eddie Murphy did not like losing the Academy Award for best supporting actor to Alan Arkin last night. He split the show — exit stage left! — as soon Arkin’s name was announced. Murphy didn’t stay to see Jennifer Hudson win best supporting actress in "Dreamgirls" or his fellow castmates Hudson, Beyonce, Keith Robinson and Anoki Noni Rose perform the show’s nominated songs in a stellar staging by "Dreamgirls" director/writer Bill Condon, who wasn't an Oscar nominee. That may have been the problem with "Dreamgirls" all along, as I’ve suggested before: Much as the movie depends on a song called...

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have taught their daughter, Blue Ivy, the importance of investing in art. On Saturday night, the 6-year-old made several bids on art while sitting between her mega-star parents at the Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles. The second annual event, put on by Tina Knowles and husband Richard Lawson, benefits the WACO Theater Center. During the swanky event, little Blue Ivy, who was wearing a matching gold dress like her mother, bid $17,000 on an acyclic painting of Sidney Poitier, reports Vanity Fair. Excited to make another bid, she lifted her paddle again raising the bar to...

Music superstar Beyoncé presented NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick with the Muhammed Ali Legacy Award on Tuesday. Photos posted on Twitter show Beyoncé making the surprise appearance to present Kaepernick with the award. Sports Illustrated announced Kaepernick as the recipient of the award last week. The award is given each year to someone who "embodies the ideals of sportsmanship, leadership and philanthropy and has used sports as a platform for changing the world," the magazine said. Sports Illustrated said Kaepernick is receiving the honor due to his "steadfastness in the fight for social justice, for his adherence to his beliefs no...

After Donald Trump's election victory, Michael Moore suggested Democrats should run a celebrity in 2020. If they aren't already considering it, they should be, writes Jeet Heer at New Republic. Some argue that voters are actually turned off by celebrities, whose lectures can feel patronizing and whose bank accounts hardly make them relatable. But "we live in a media-saturated world where fame has persuasive power," and the political victories of Trump, Ronald Reagan, and Arnold Schwarzenegger prove that, Heer says. But whereas Republicans have used celebrity to their advantage, Democrats have chosen to hope for a candidate that's both smart...

Why do Hollywood leftists have to ruin everything they touch? – My first reaction when I heard that the great George Strait would be putting on a nationally televised hurricane benefit fundraiser was great! Awesome! Greatest country music artist ever, native Texan, truly good ol’ boy in every sense of that title, it’ll be a fantastic show and raise a ton of money. Good for George. But then I saw that he would be joined by notorious cop hater Beyonce’, and I thought, oh, no, here we go. But hey, Beyonce’ is also a native Houstonian, so I figured she...

Former first lady Michelle Obama is getting in formation, dressing as her famed friend Beyonce to mark the mega-singer’s 36th birthday. Obama was one of several high-profile figures to take part in the birthday tribute to the “Formation” and “Lemonade” songstress on Monday. Beyonce posted a photo spread featuring Obama, tennis star Serena Williams, her eldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter and other friends and family members on her website. All the girls and women are seen mimicking Beyonce’s look in her 2016 music video “Formation,” sporting a hat covering their eyes, an ornate necklace and braids in the black and...

Last year’s White House Easter egg roll featured a surprise visit from Beyoncé; athletes from the NBA and Washington Redskins; and a performance by actress and singer Idina Menzel, the voice behind that catchy song from the movie “Frozen.” This year, the big act for the Trump administration is the Martin Family Circus, a six-person family band from Nashville that’s driving up to D.C. for the annual event in an RV.

In case you live in a cave and are unaware: butts are the new boobs. Every young woman wants big ones in the 21st century. Some want them bad enough to have augmentations. There’s just no explaining some people’s taste and delusions. On an objective basis (i.e. da Vinci’s golden ratio) disproportionately large butts are not attractive. But(t) like so many issues, many of them far more important that the size of boobs and butts, pop culture has dictated what people accept as objective reality. Hence young women have been brainwashed into believing they need to haul around a big booty in...

Famous singers, Beyonce and Adele were nominated for the following categories at the Annual Grammy Awards: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Album of the Year. Adele won all three categories. During her graceful acceptance speech, she gave tearful accolades to Beyonce, calling her “the artist of her life,” and stating that Beyonce’s album Lemonade was “monumental.” Beyonce cried during Adele’s speech and appeared to be very touched by her words of praise. "I swear to Lucifer," Lady Gaga said on the Jimmy Kimmel show. The question that has to be asked here is: Why are Conservatives putting up with Roger Goodell's offensive half time, Super Bowl entertainment when Hollyweird and the music industry got away with attempting to heap shame on President Donald Trump's inauguration? The Super Bowl arguably is the most watched entertainment event in America. But why is the public, year after year subjected to Satanic symbols, dark entertainment themes and offensive displays of female nudity at outrageous ticket prices? In a Spy Kitten video, watched by over 4 million...

A Rutgers University professor was taken to a New York City hospital for a psychiatric evaluation after university police claimed he made threats to kill white people, authorities said Wednesday. But Kevin Allred said the comments he made in class and on Twitter in the days after Donald Trump won the presidential election were just rhetorical political statements. He claims school officials were trying to intimidate him for exercising his free speech rights. New York police said they were contacted by Rutgers police about the alleged threats. Allred, who is white, was taken to the hospital Tuesday night and released...

It’s another relatively new Democrat presidential campaign tradition, introduced by our current, first,  historic black president: the hip-hop campaign rally. And who better to host a hip-hop rally than Hillary, Queen of the chillax* pussy* bitches*?  Just last night she had a bomb of a show headlined by another power-couple-in-name-only, Beyoncé and Jay-Z.Could anyone other than Hillary have managed to get Bey and her bitches into pantsuits to perform her famous anti-cop “Formation” anthem? With Hillary Clinton pulling out all the stops to drive her low-information base to the polls, to include rolling out pop stars Beyonce and Jay Z, rival Donald Trump shrugged off the need for bread and circuses. Speaking to a crowd in Hershey, Pa., the GOP nominee instead gave voters the opportunity to hear from an actual candidate in the race as opposed to Clinton resorting to entertaining them in Cleveland with a concert featuring the recording artists. “I didn’t have to bring J-Lo or Jay Z,” Trump said. “I am here all by myself.
