New Jersey's Department of the Treasury announced a gas tax increase of 9.3 cents per gallon due to "lower fuel consumption trends, which have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic." A high school teacher was arrested Wednesday for allegedly sexually assaulting an underage victim, according to authorities. Camden Catholic High School teacher Bridget Sipera, 36, reportedly had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student from New Jersey. Sipera, of Cherry Hill, allegedly initiated the sexual relationship with the student in January 2019 when he was one of her students, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. The victim reportedly told police the relationship lasted about 18 months, which included about 60 sexual encounters at various locations.
