Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) told CBS News Thursday that the Republican Party’s stance on abortion will cost them votes in 2024. Mace said, “I think it’s going to mean more losses, and I don’t believe that my party has learned anything from 2022 from the midterms. We saw this issue rear its head after Roe was overturned. I was one of the few Republicans that was doing national media talking about and need to build consensus. I read multiple op-eds. I’ve done multiple interviews on the issue. I’m in a bellwether district, and I see the pulse of everyday Americans...

Joe Biden didn't let Rep. Jimmy Gomez leave the room just because his six-month old got fussy during the president's speech marking the 13th anniversary of the passage of the Affordable Care Act. After his remarks on Thursday, Biden soothed the California Democrat's baby – putting their heads together as photographers snapped images. The baby Hodge started to cry during Biden's speech, prompting Rep. Gomez, 48, to get up from his chair and start to leave the room. But Biden called out to the lawmaker with a baby strapped to his chest. 'That's alright, we like babies – you don't...

It would be interesting to see a “moderate Muslim” spokesman in the West, one of the legion who hoodwink conservatives by claiming that Islam, rightly understood, is peaceful and benign, discuss or debate these assertions with Islam Behery, or try to refute what he says here. Instead, they will ignore it. Now, why is that? “Egyptian Researcher Islam Behery: Mainstream Islamic Scholarship Is Radical, Leads To Terrorism – It Seeks To Wage Jihad, Spread Islam,” MEMRI, January 29, 2023: https://www.memri.org/tv/egyptian-researcher-behery-islamic-jurisprudence-needs-reform-terrorism-jihad Egyptian researcher Islam Behery said in a January 29, 2023 interview on Sky News Arabia (UAE) that like other fields...

A pregnant Florida woman charged with fatally shooting a mother of three in an Uber last year is arguing to be let out of jail because her unborn child hasn’t committed a crime. In an unusual legal argument, attorneys for Natalia Harrell, 24, filed a motion on behalf of her fetus, asserting that it shouldn’t be behind bars without being charged with an offense. “The State has placed the unborn child in such inherently dangerous environment by placing the unborn child in close proximity to violent criminal offenders,” the filing asserts. Harrell’s child, it argues, is receiving inadequate pre-natal care...

How far is this madness going to go? It started with the increasingly common assumption that newborn babies are “assigned” a gender at birth, as if doing so were an arbitrary bureaucratic process that could often be erroneous. Now the Pennsylvania state Office of Child Development and Early Learning is going even farther, requiring social workers to report on the gender identity of newborns: forms now ask whether the baby is Male, Female, or “Gender Non-Binary.” How on God’s weary earth is a social worker supposed to be able to tell whether or not a tiny just-born baby is a...

Firefighters in Bowling Green, Kentucky, last week found the first baby placed into their Safe Haven Baby Box, which was just installed in December. WBKO reported that an infant was left in the Safe Haven Baby Box at the Bowling Green Fire Department (BGFD) station on Lovers Lane. The firefighters retrieved the child just a minute and a half after the box was used, WNKY noted. Monika Kelsey, the founder of Safe Haven Baby Boxes, held a press conference. Addressing the parents of the baby, she thanked the parents for looking out for the best interests of their child. Kentucky’s...

Late for their flight to Belgium on Tuesday (Jan 31), one couple realised they needed to buy an additional ticket for their baby only after they arrived at Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv. The pair elected not to fork out money for the extra ticket. They left their child at the check-in counter’s baggage conveyor belt and made a dash to clear security in an attempt to board their Ryanair flight to Brussels. The pair, who hold Belgian passports, were informed by staff at the closed check-in counter that they had to buy an extra seat for...

Her mother went into labour soon after the disaster and gave birth before she died, a relative said. Her father, four siblings and an aunt were also killed. Dramatic footage showed a man carrying the baby, covered in dust, after she was pulled from debris in Jindayris. A doctor at a hospital in nearby Afrin said she was now in a stable condition. The building in which her family lived was one of about 50 reportedly destroyed by the 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Jindayris, an opposition-held town in Idlib province that is close to the Turkish border. The baby's uncle, Khalil...

Nearly one year has passed since the baby formula shortage began impacting America’s kids and parents — and the issue may not end this year. A new report by Reckitt Benckiser, the maker of Enfamil, indicates shortages are expected to persist until at least the spring of 2023. Amber Bergeron, a Louisiana mother of four, confirmed to “Fox & Friends First” on Thursday that feeding her eight-month-old twins has been continuously difficult for her. “I’m beyond struggling,” she said. Bergeron shared how she was down to only half a can of her formula of choice last week and wasn’t able...

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WRKG) — A Pensacola woman is behind bars after allegedly pouring alcohol into her child’s baby bottle, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. Cecil LaToya Bryant, 28, was charged with aggravated child abuse. On Nov. 1, deputies said they responded to a possible child abuse. Public records about the federal investigation into the baby formula shortage are somehow not being released. The Biden administration made a mess with the infant formula shortage earlier this year, and the problem is still ongoing, remaining at crisis levels in some parts of the country. But don't ask them how thing are going now. After launching a high-profile investigation on why it happened last May 24, the shortages are still there, and now there's a coverup. According to the Washington Examiner: EXCLUSIVE — President Joe Biden's Federal Trade Commission is being sued for allegedly blocking the release of records...

Abbott is recalling Similac baby formula products due to faulty bottle caps that may cause spoilage. The products hail from a manufacturing plant in Columbus, Ohio that distributes nationally. The announcement comes after Abbott's February formula recall that prompted a national crisis. Abbott is again recalling Similac baby formula products — this time due to faulty bottle caps. The company issued a voluntary recall on Friday for several Similac ready-to-feed liquid products produced at its Columbus, Ohio facility. It discovered caps on 2 fluid-ounce bottles "that may not have sealed completely, which could result in product spoilage," Abbott said in a...

Hi Damon: My best friend is an antivaxxer (not only covid, all the vaccines). His wife is, too. They have a 9-month-old baby and they haven’t vaccinated him. I babysit for them every other weekend. Should I take the baby to get his shots without telling them? — Anonymous Anonymous: My feelings on vaccinations are well-documented. But just in case you’re unfamiliar, a quick refresh:

p>The worst that can happen to the human species, is happening. The War Room/DailyClout’s Pfizer Documents Research Volunteers — a group of medical and scientific experts who have selflessly stepped up to analyze the tens of thousands of formerly internal Pfizer documents released under court order subsequent to a lawsuit by Aaron Siri’s firm, Siri & Glimstad, and a FOIA by Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency — have now fully demonstrated that Pfizer’s mRNA vaccines target human reproduction in comprehensive, likely irreversible ways. Our 3,250 research volunteers, in 39 fully cited reports to date, have documented evidence of what I’ve...

Republican lawmakers filed a bill Wednesday that would require expecting fathers to pay child support beginning at conception. The "Unborn Child Support Act" would "establish and enforce child support obligations of the biological father of an unborn child." With the mother's consent, once paternity is proven, fathers would be responsible for the payment amount determined by a court. The bill would amend the Social Security Act which outlines the existing state-enforced requirements for biological fathers to make child support payments to the mother of their child. Not only would the legislation expand the requirements and ensure state enforcement of mothers'...
