GILBERT, AZ - Deputies are investigating after multiple dead bodies were found inside a Gilbert home Monday night. A Maricopa County Sheriff's Office spokesperson said the bodies were found at the residence near Power and Chandler Heights roads around 9 p.m.

When Arizona delegates to the Republican National Convention were asked Thursday how many would not vote for Sen. John McCain in next month's primary, more than half of their hands went up. The Arizona man arrested this month for allegedly planning a terror-related strike was attacked in jail, authorities confirmed to NBC News. Mahin Khan, 18, of Tucson was assaulted by other inmates in a Maricopa County jail on July 2, the day after his arrest, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department said. Khan suffered "some minor non-life-threatening injuries" and has been moved to segregated housing in Lower Buckeye Jail, authorities said. Khan declined to be placed in segregation when it was offered, the sheriff's office said.

SmartAsset, an online financial service based in New York City, points to the average salary paid to local tech workers and the lower cost of living as two primary reasons Sierra Vista earned a spot in the top 10 this year.
