SIERRA VISTA — A national survey of 201 cities ranks Sierra Vista as the tenth best place to work for employees in the technology industry in 2016.

SmartAsset, an online financial service based in New York City, points to the average salary paid to local tech workers and the lower cost of living as two primary reasons Sierra Vista earned a spot in the top 10 this year.

It the first time in the three-year history of the survey that any city in Arizona has earned a spot in the top 10.

There was a thread here a couple months ago about Sierra Vista.
Wonderful climate, etc. Great place to retire.
However IIRC it’s only a few miles from the border.

Maybe after the Great Wall of Trump. :^)

That’s fine, but Americans don’t have access to many of the jobs. Attached to the Immigration and Nationality Act, a foreigner has access to jobs here in the US using the non-immigrant visa established by the Obama administration. The government even has a listing on the web to get people into the program easily: https://www.uscis.gov/eir/visa-guide/h-1b-specialty-occupation/h-1b-visa

So it may be really nice to have a place to work and live. Obama and his band of enablers know that too and are taking advantage of it. So far 117,828 having been issued in FY2010, 129,552 in FY2011, and 135,991 in FY2012. And I can’t find any records since as they seem to have disappeared from view. But understand, any visas left over from the previous year are on top of the pot for the next years applications. And they also are allowed to work here and be treated to different tax statuses.
