Reverend Billy Graham, arguably the most well-known and respected evangelical preacher of the last 50 years, said in a recently published commentary that America was “founded by men who believed in prayer” and that prayer can turn “the tide of history,” adding that while “America is just as wicked as Sodom and Gomorrah” and deserves “the judgment of God,” this judgment can be lessened through prayer. “Even though America is just as wicked as Sodom and Gomorrah ever were, and as deserving of the judgment of God, God would spare us if we were earnestly praying, with hearts that had...

In an interview with French TV station, Obama says that a number of Muslims residing in US justifies regarding it as a Muslim Country. Check it out… A few days ago President Obama, in an interview he gave France’s Canal+ TV Channel, said that the American people need to be better educated about Islam, since US could and should be regarded as a Muslim country. He said that the number of Muslims residing in the US makes it “one of the biggest Muslim nations”. In reality the US has one of the smallest percentages of Muslims of any Western country....

Overall spending on public infrastructure fell 10.5% between 2003 and 2012 The tendency of pundits is to address the decline in American culture and traditional moral values. The concerns addressed include the rather sudden, but widespread embrace of same-sex marriages or calls for the legalization of marijuana so anyone can get high without the fear of arrest. You can probably name a few things you consider evidence of decline, but there is one you are not likely to notice much. It’s the nation’s infrastructure of highways, airports, waterways and ports. It’s only dramatic declines such as the decay of Detroit,...

In 1492, "Columbus sailed the ocean blue" and discovered the New World. And Oct. 12 was once a celebrated holiday in America. School children in the earliest grades knew the date and the names of the ships on which Columbus and his crew had sailed: the Nina, the Pinta, the Santa Maria. They knew his voyage had been financed by Queen Isabella of Spain, after the Genoese Admiral of the Ocean Sea had been turned down by other monarchs of Europe. Oct. 12, 1492, was considered a momentous and wonderful day in world history: the discovery of America -- by...

Chicago is the rattiest city in America, according to pest control company Orkin. The company released a top 20 list with Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and New York City trailing Chicago. “Each city on this list is a major urban area that provides ideal conditions for rats and mice to thrive,” said entomologist and Orkin Technical Services Director Ron Harrison, Ph.D. in the release. The list was based soley on the number of treatments performed by Orkin in the past year. Orkin estimates rats and mice invade 21 million American homes each year and one-third of Americans saw a rodent...

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swell thereof. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Psalm 46: 1-3;11

God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. He says to the snow, “Fall on the earth,” and to the rain shower, “Be a mighty downpour.” So that all men he has made may know his work, he stops every man from his labor. The animals take cover; they remain in their dens. The tempest comes out from its chamber, the cold from the driving winds. The breath of God produces ice, and the broad waters become frozen. He loads the clouds with moisture; he scatters his lightning through them. At his direction they...

Why has it become so maddeningly difficult to make judgments about other people? About the actions especially of people who want to kill us? Indeed, whose stated aim is to bring the Great Satan (i.e., America) to its knees, and then to cut off its collective head?

Throughout our nation’s history, the Church has been a force for good in America and abroad. But over the last 50 years, government has systematically eroded our free speech and religious expression. The Bible and the Gospel have been banished from our public schools and our public squares. With more than 75% of Americans calling themselves Christians, it’s time for the Church to rise up and take action to turn the tide in our nation! We have the numbers and we have a voice. If we are silent, we have no one to blame but ourselves for a Godless America.

“Remember these things, O Jacob, for you are my servant, O Israel. I have made you, you are my servant; O Israel, I will not forget you. I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.” Sing for joy, O heavens, for the LORD has done this; shout aloud, O earth beneath. Burst into song, you mountains, you forests and all your trees, for the LORD has redeemed Jacob, he displays his glory in Israel. (Isaiah 44:21-23)

A new Pew Research Center survey of opinion about the importance of religion in American life shows an interesting picture. Over the last 12 years, the percentage of Americans that think religion is losing influence in American life has increased dramatically. In 2002, 52 percent of those surveyed said religion is losing influence. In 2014, 72 percent of Americans said religion is losing influence. However, while increasing numbers of Americans feel religion is losing influence, most feel this is a bad thing. Fifty-six percent say that the waning influence of religion is a bad thing compared to 12 percent that...

" Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name; That at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

People we are sleeping in America. Every single month now, we buy 30 or 40 billion dollars more from China, than we sell to China. This year, is every bit the disaster, that it was last year. And the year before. Except it is worse, because we CONTINUE TO INCREASE OUR DEBT. Just saying. Bring back American businesses, and bring back American JOBS. Jobs.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood since the earth was founded? He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. He brings princes to naught and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing. No sooner are they planted, no sooner are they sown, no sooner do they take root in the ground, than he blows on them and they...

Why prospects for cooperation with the Islamic Republic look dimmer than ever. On Thursday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani addressed the United Nations in a replete with anti-Western sentiments, anti-Semitism, tiresome tropes regarding the genesis of terror, and promises to continue pursuing his nation’s nuclear program. While acknowledging that terror had become a global issue, Rouhani sought to put the blame everywhere else. “Today’s anti-Westernism is the offspring of yesterday’s colonialism,” Rouhani insisted, proceeding to take a none-too-subtle shot at America, noting that “certain intelligence agencies have put blades in the hands of madmen, who now spare no one.”

"God bless you, and God bless the Homeland."It won't surprise me if that's how a future President closes one of his "State of the Union " addresses. The un-American term "the homeland" is taking over America. Everywhere I turn it's being used to replace the words "country" or "nation" or "the United States." All the media have accepted the phrase. It's all over CNN, FOX, MSNBC. I hear it on NPR.It's in the news pages and headlines of the Washington Examiner, the Washington Post and the Weekly Standard. "The homeland" is a bipartisan insult to America. It's being used by...
