Telling the Truth About Islam
Crisis Magazine ^ | October 6, 2014 | Regis Martin

Why has it become so maddeningly difficult to make judgments about other people? About the actions especially of people who want to kill us? Indeed, whose stated aim is to bring the Great Satan (i.e., America) to its knees, and then to cut off its collective head?

Yet there are websites that are now getting the truth out.

“Whoever knows the Old and New Testaments, and then reads the Koran,” wrote Pope Saint John-Paul II in Crossing The Threshold Of Hope, “clearly sees the process by which it completely reduces Divine Revelation” (italics in the original).

And while it is true, as the pope goes on to say, that among the “most beautiful names in the human language are given to the God of the Koran,” it cannot finally satisfy because such a God, “is ultimately a God outside of the world, a God who is only Majesty, never Emmanuel, God-with-us.Islam is not a religion of redemption” (again, italics in the original).

This goes into my next Parish Newsletter.

.....”websites that are now getting the truth out”.....

The truth being out there is not the problem...it’s always out there to be had for those truly seeking it. The problem is that people seek what they will to support ‘their truth’ rather than truth for it’s own and as it really is.

The Koran and the man that Muslims follow IS Islam... it has always been and will be about an ideology of violence...both by what is written as well as the example Mohammed left by his own violent actions and behavior. This will not change.

....”wrote Pope Saint John-Paul II”.....

The problem catholics face is John Paul is not in charge now...Francis is... and he’s choosing to take the catholic church in another direction regarding Islam.

The generations before us invented nuclear weapons to destroy suicidal death cults. Islam is easy to stop, but the moral fortitude to do so is currently out of our reach of this narcissistic society.

I seems to me that what you are advocating is using indiscriminate weapons of mass destruction to wipe out Muslims, or Muslim societies per se. Is that what you are saying??

Yes it is. However I do not consider them indiscriminate weapons, I just consider them weapons. Their usage determines the level of indiscriminate would you not think?

If after Saudi Arabia took out the 911 towers we had used a small tactical Nuke with cobalt on the Kabah in Mecca and sky written “Our God is bigger than your God” on our exit from their air space millions more would be alive than now, or will be in the future.

The longer we pander to the barbarians, the bigger they will grow. This by the way was a message delivered to the Senate of Rome, before its fall years later.

Do not underestimate the power of the Scourge of Islam, it was after all the cause of the Dark Ages of Europe until the Crusades pushed them back to the deserts where such death cults belong.

Might I also suggest that you study “Muslim Societies” and their political/religious quest for world domination by violence.

I find it hard to call a death cult a society, but the case can be made. After all a virus is a form of a society, till it kills it’s host.

Pardon my hard edge to my posts, I have after all lived in a “muslim society” inflicted area for ten years, and tend to view them from the perspective of all the blood and body parts I have seen as their gift to Humanity.

I view Muslims these days as a spiritual cross between Ebola and zombies. In the beginning stages they seem just odd, and as their disease progresses in society the blood bath begins. With the establishment of the Caliphate, we are about to hit overdrive, as the whole point of their religious expression is the torture and murder of 90% of the worlds population and the subjugation of the survivors to a fascist religious dictatorship that is signaled by the establishment of the 12th Caliphate.

The establishment of that Caliphate is the signal of the end times, when all Muslims rise up and slaughter all the Non Muslims of the earth. It is celebrated by the festival of Ramadan, a fast to symbolize the hard times of Armageddon, followed by the hanging of goat parts during the festival of EID when the smell of rotting goats symbolizes the smell of the dead bodies of the worlds infidels rotting in the sun.

If that Caliphate is established, you will see the 90% of “Moderate Muslims” suddenly switch to “Radical Muslims” practically overnight.

In the Qu’ran, the only thing holding them back from this is the timing, signaled by the weakness of the world to resisting terrorism.

Muslim fanaticism make Nazis look like kindergarteners. They do not believe in gas chambers, they believe in dull kitchen knives or crucifixion as a solution to dissidency.

If we do not stand up and fight back with enough force to scare them, you and your children are toast...

What you present does not surprise me.

Can we say for once that the god of Islam IS NOT the same God as that of Jews/Christians for a change?

I'm not dusputing that Islam is a political deth cult.

I'm not desputing that we have to resist, including by arms and lethal force.

I'm disputing indiscriminate killing of human populations, the blameless and the aggressors alive.

Since you’ve lived there...I’d like to know the following:

I understand that in Islam their salvation is never assured unless they die doing Jihad, which if they kill an infidel it’s a immediate guaranteed access to the virgins thing heaven they speak of. Which is shy those that fight Jihad do so....for the most part....they get free access to their heaven.

.....Otherwise their salvation is based on the good things they do outweighing the bad.

ISLAM RELIGION OF THE SWORD

At the beginning, when they were a small minority, Mohammed preached respect for other religions condemning forced conversion to Islam; those are the parts of the Koran used by those who falsely proclaim that Islam is a “religion of peace”.

What they fail to disclose is that In Islamic tradition, affirmed by many scholars, there is the doctrine of “abrogation”, which states that later revelation to Mohammed supersedes prior revelations, and the Koranic verses ordering Muslims to fight and slay infidels, Christians and Jews came after those admonishing Muslims to live with non-believers in peace and without religious compulsion.

It is a well known fact the bloody history of Islam, but Obama, and a gutless media, still call it a “religion of peace”, even though that in the name of Allah more than 220 millions infidels have been slaughtered by Muslim, since the prophet of Allah beheaded in 627 AD over 700 hundred men and the pubescent boys and enslaved the women and children. In doing this, he wiped entirely the last remaining major tribe of Jews in Medina: the Qurayza.

In conclusion: You cannot separate “terror” from Islam.

“The issue of “terror” is a further aspect of this same understanding. Many outside Islam seek to separate “terror” and “Islam” as if they were, in their usage, independent or even opposed ideas. This latter view is almost impossible seriously to maintain in the light of Islamic history and the text of the Qur’an itself.”

“The Islamic State and the broader jihadist movements throughout the world that agree with it are, I think, correct in their basic understanding of Islam. Plenty of evidence is found, both in the long history of early Muslim military expansion and in its theoretical interpretation of the Qur’an itself, to conclude that the Islamic State and its sympathizers have it basically right.”

The Hindu Kush, seventy-five thousand square miles between Afghanistan and Pakistan, was populated by Hindus until approximately 1000 AD and the Muslim invasions. An estimated 60 million Hindus were murdered by Muslims over a thousand year reign, and Hindu Kush is the Muslim name for the region. It means "Hindu Killer.”

....”I’m disputing indiscriminate killing of human populations”.....

That is a very fine line in today’s ultra liberal world, but God did raise Israel up to do just that which included livestock and children.....Israel didn’t do that, thy did spare woman and children and even others. Thus they have the issue today’s which have come down thru the centuries.

God says nearly 20 times in the OT that he hates - despises - abhors - those who shed innocent blood. He calls shedding innocent blood an abomination. Shedding innocent blood is just the kind of thing that gave the Canaanites a bad name! As for the 6 specific nations that were to be extirpated of Canaan --- specified peoples --- the "the Amalekites, Jebusites, the Perizzites, the Hittites", etc. --- that does not constitute a broad justification for indiscriminate killing, not even then, let alone in our day, as I explain here FR Discussion on OT War of the Ban (LINK)

That's a heckuva long read, and I realize you may not be into such a magnum opus, so read a much shorter summary here:

#52 Bottom line: intentional targeted killing or intentionally indiscriminate killing of people is against God's law.

Yup. Esau --> Amalek --> Agag --> Haman (--> Mohammed?)

The dubious "gift" of Saul's misplaced compassion, a spiritual form of ebola.

The people of Canaan were not innocent....

To begin with the Promised Land belonged to God before the Canaanites established temporary residency there. It had always been his plan to give this land to the descendants of Abraham:

...“In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here” (Genesis 15:16a). ....

The Lord did not take from the Canaanites that which was “theirs” he reclaimed that which was his according to his foreordained purposes.

Further... the Canaanites lived in ‘wicked rebellion against the will and purposes of God’... The Lord had predicted that Abraham’s descendants would claim the land when “the sin of the Amorites” reached its “full measure” (Genesis 15:16b). .....This “full measure” of sin was attained by the Canaanites in the generation leading to the Jewish conquest.

Additionally....Moses warned his people about these sins they would encounter upon entering the Promised Land:

.... “Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead” (Deuteronomy 18:10-11)......

.... He stated that anyone who practices such sins is “detestable to the Lord,” and explained that “because of these detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you” .

Those who were conquered by Joshua and his armies were not innocent victims, but wicked sinners who received the judgment their transgressions had warranted.

Also... the blood retribution practiced by ancient tribal culture required the Jewish armies to destroy not only the soldiers of their enemies, but their families as well..... So long as one member of a family remained, that person was bound ‘by cultural law’ to attempt retribution against the enemies of his people...... Such unrest and hostility would have persisted throughout the nation’s history, with no possibility of peace in the land. What appears to be genocide was actually the way wars were typically prosecuted.

In the early and formative early years of Israel’s history it was imperative that the people be kept from the influence of sinners without or within their nation. ......The ‘holy God’ who gave them their land would uproot them from it if they rebelled against him (Deuteronomy 28:63-68).

.....This warning came to pass centuries later at the hands of Assyria and then Babylon, and ultimately in the national destruction wrought by Rome in the first century of the Christian era.

.... God had to bring severe judgment against Achan, lest he and his family spread the cancer of their disobedience within the nation.... He ordered his people to destroy ‘all’ they found within Canaanite civilization, lest it continue to tempt them to disobedience and eventual destruction. We find similar severity during the formative years of the Christian movement in God’s judgment against Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1-11).

God does not change. But his purposes are fulfilled in ‘different ways at different times’... in redemptive history. ....Justice required retribution against the sinful Canaanite civilization.... And his salvation plan required a purified nation through whom he could bring the Messiah of all mankind.... When Christ came, Joshua’s leadership of conflict and conquest was fulfilled.
