One if by land, and two if by sea … and then what? According to historians interviewed by the Boston Herald, Paul Revere then warned the British not to challenge a roused and armed populace. That came as news to many observers who had rushed to criticize Sarah Palin for her response to a gotcha question at the Old North Church: Sarah Palin yesterday insisted her claim at the Old North Church last week that Paul Revere “warned the British” during his famed 1775 ride — remarks that Democrats and the media roundly ridiculed — is actually historically accurate. And...

Has weird title. Great video of Palin talking about Cruz and the shutdown of the government over the (UN)affordable healthcare act. This video is worth watching.

Clinton Cook Sr., of Craig, said he was on the 24-foot charter boat that discovered one of the white containers labeled "guided missile." It was not how he expected to spend his Sunday. "I seen the data plate," Cook said of the hard plastic box, which was bobbing in the water about seven miles north of Craig. "It said, 'Contains: Guided missile.' And I was like, 'Holy crap.'" "We need to leave it alone,'" he told the others.

Donald Trump is sending Sarah Palin, one of his best political surrogates, to the Wyoming Republican State Convention, in an effort to woo delegates to his campaign. On Saturday, Wyoming State Delegates will select the remaining 14 delegates to represent the party in Cleveland. Twelve delegates were already selected at party’s county caucuses in March. Three other delegate slots go to the party’s national committeeman, national committeewoman, and the chairman of the Wyoming’s Republican Party. Trump is anxious to stop the flow of delegates to his rival Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% . In Colorado, Cruz swept all 34 delegates...

The bill's sponsor, Sen. Pete Kelly, R-Fairbanks, said gun-free zones on campuses make them targets for killers. He highlighted the growing number of mass shootings in the United States in recent years. "I don't want the students and the faculty at the University of Alaska to be a soft target as the dial seems to be ratcheted up over the last few years," he said. The measure passed by a vote of 13-5.

Azealia Banks penned another expletive-filled note Wednesday attacking Sarah Palin, “crackers,” and “whitey” just hours after the former Alaska governor vowed to sue the rapper for an earlier graphic outburst against her.

In a string of early-morning tweets on Sunday, Rapper Azealia Banks called for Sarah Palin to be brutally gang-raped by a group of black men. Screenshots of the tweets (which Banks later deleted) were captured by the Media Research Center’s Ashley Goldenberg.

While stumping for GOP front-runner Donald Trump, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was speaking to a group of mostly establishment conservatives, and she ended up silencing the room after revealing a damning secret about Sen. Ted Cruz’s past that he didn’t want out. During her speech, the audience remained quite quiet as Palin explained to them the importance of not falling for deception, which they would be doing if the supported Cruz and his weak and opportunistic position on immigration. Evidence of his position, as Palin explained to the crowd, was when he accompanied Glenn Beck in McAllen, Texas to...

Rep. Don Young is disappointed that Ohio Gov. John Kasich has struggled to gain traction in the Republican presidential primaries, a phenomenon that alarms the Alaska Republican. "He's probably the most qualified to be president," Young told a local radio host this week. "He just unfortunately doesn't have the charisma to get people ginned up because they're not thinking anymore and that concerns me the most. But he's the one that should have gotten the nomination." . . Young allowed that he didn't support Kasich early in the race, either. "I was a Jeb Bush supporter," he said. "I served...

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who’s endorsed Donald Trump, is in Wisconsin campaigning for the GOP frontrunner. Palin posted on Facebook, “Just touched down in the great state of Wisconsin to ‪#‎Stump4Trump‬! Wisconsin’s middle class has been hurt by DC politicians’ out-of-touch policies worse than any other state – 100,000 jobs lost to Mexico and China thanks to trade deficits with countries that cheat on our ‘agreements.'” Donald J. Trump has fought for American workers and against trade deficits for decades in the private sector, unlike his competitors who actually support Obama’s reckless TPP and TPA deals that are entirely...

A bill in the Alaskan legislature, SB174, has passed the Senate Judiciary committee. In the Committee, amendments were added that give the Board of Regents of the University of Alaska extraordinary power and immunity. The legislation would give the Board of Regents the power to ban the open carry of knives and guns. No city in Alaska has that power. From SB174(pdf): (c) The Board of Regents may adopt and enforce policies (1) regulating the possession, ownership, use, carrying, registration, storage, and transportation of openly carried firearms and knives; It would grant the Board of Regents, all their staff, and...

Three first-graders at an Alaska charter school have been suspended for allegedly plotting to poison a classmate. The girls at Winterberry Charter School in Anchorage allegedly planned to use silica gel packets — commonly found in pre-packaged food and medicine bottles to keep moisture away — to kill the student, officials said. The students will return to class after their suspension..."

A women’s underwear line is selling Bloody Marys Period Panties. They include a “Blood Dumpster,” which places a picture of the face of a U.S. politician “in the crotch of a pair of Bloody Mary undies, for YOU to bleed all over!” Additionally, according to the retailer’s website, “$3 of every Bloody Marys sale goes to a Planned Parenthood located in the state governed by your chosen Blood Dumpster.”

Bye Bye, Beringia Anthropology and Archaeology of The Americas by Bill Jones One might think that Archeology sites throughout the World have produced many datable human remains. Nothing could be further from the truth. Ancient human remains have so rarely been found that these singular findings could not be connected to others to form chronologies about human evolution. The scarcity of human remains to be analyzed has prevented the sciences of Anthropology and Archaeology from forming conclusions about the cultural levels of ancient humans. We try to measure the culture of a people in terms of the totality of their...

Think Hillary Clinton has a lock on Hawaii’s presidential preference poll this coming Saturday? Maybe not. Two enthusiastic Honolulu receptions on Sunday for the wife of Clinton’s chief opponent, Bernie Sanders, suggests that supporters of the Vermont senator believe the Democratic primary process is far from over, despite the substantial delegate lead for the former secretary of state. Jane Sanders flew into town to meet privately with about two dozen veterans at Tommy Kakesako Hall on Nimitz Highway, an event well covered by local media.

Sen. Bernie Sanders won the Alaska, Washington and Hawaii Democratic presidential caucuses on Saturday by decisive margins -- victories he hopes will spark a Western states comeback and help him cut into frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s substantial lead. "We knew things were going to improve as we headed west," Sanders said at a rally in Madison, Wis. "We are making significant inroads in ... Clinton's lead ... We have a path toward victory." Sanders won Alaska 81-to-18 percent; 68-32 in Hawaii and 73-26 in Wshignton over Clinton, with all precincts reporting. Washington was the biggest prize, 101 delegates, followed by Hawaii...

Sen. Bernie Sanders had the best night of his presidential campaign on Saturday, dominating Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the Washington, Hawaii and Alaska state caucuses by wide margins. He cut into Clinton's pledged-delegate lead by at least one-sixth and potentially more. It was the sort of night that he needs more of. But which he's almost certainly not going to get. The reason it was such a big night for Sanders was that he dominated in Washington state, beating Clinton by more than 40 points. Washington has a big delegate total, so splitting up the delegates gave Sanders a...

Senator Bernie Sanders routed Hillary Clinton in all three Democratic presidential contests on Saturday, infusing his underdog campaign with critical momentum and bolstering his argument that the race for the nomination is not a foregone conclusion. Mr. Sanders found a welcome tableau in the largely white and liberal electorates of the Pacific Northwest, where just days after resoundingly beating Mrs. Clinton in Idaho he repeated the feat in the Washington caucuses, winning 73 percent of the vote. He did even better in Alaska, winning 82 percent of the vote, and in Hawaii, he had 71 percent with a few precincts...

Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus mocked Hillary Clinton's "embarrassing performance" in primaries and caucuses this week, chortling at her poor one-of-six wins. "Hillary Clinton's repeated stumbles at this stage of the race are another reminder of her deeply flawed candidacy. Winning only one out of six primaries and caucuses this week is an embarrassing performance for the Democrat front runner," he said in a statement Sunday. Clinton this week won the Arizona primary and lost to challenger Sen. Bernie Sanders in Idaho, Utah, Alaska, Hawaii and Washington. "At a time when the public's concern about terrorism is growing, Hillary Clinton's...
