Sen. Bernie Sanders won the Alaska, Washington and Hawaii Democratic presidential caucuses on Saturday by decisive margins -- victories he hopes will spark a Western states comeback and help him cut into frontrunner Hillary Clintons substantial lead.
"We knew things were going to improve as we headed west," Sanders said at a rally in Madison, Wis. "We are making significant inroads in ... Clinton's lead ... We have a path toward victory."
Sanders won Alaska 81-to-18 percent; 68-32 in Hawaii and 73-26 in Wshignton over Clinton, with all precincts reporting.
Washington was the biggest prize, 101 delegates, followed by Hawaii with 25 and Alaska with 16.
Going in the contests, Clinton led by roughly 300 pledged delegates.

after reading your sensational topic, I went to the linked article, but didn’t find any specific number of delegates won for bernie or the hildabeast out of the alaska, hawaii, & washington caucuses.
not that I care, but ol bern is making up ground.
Wow! How embarrassing for Hillary, and for America (for different reasons, of course).
What a Scam
The fact that Sanders continues to humiliate Clinton just demonstrates what a weak candidate she really is.
I was joking about “all.”
She only gets most of them.
Washington: Bern 74, Hill 27 plus 10 Super, 7 Super still unpledged
Alaska: Bern 13, Hill 3, 4 Super unpledged
Hawaii: Bern 17 plus 1 super, Hill 8 plus 5 super, 4 super still unpledged.
Total
Hill: 1266 + 470 super = 1736
Bern: 1038 + 29 super = 1067
O’Malley: 0 + 1 super = 1
Available: 1747 + 214 super = 1961
2383 needed to nominate
Hillary needs 37% of the remaining delegates . . . and to delay her felony indictment.
Lilting the screech owl crackles with satanic delight.
“Look at all the delegates for me, my pretties!”
“I almost forgot....wymeningnognogmahnong!”
Look to the RNC to mimic the DNC super delegate process after this election. Trump phenomenon will never happen again if they can help it. The party bosses will see to that.
I can tell you this. I know that Trump has not done well in caucuses either but if he suffered the kind of losses to Cruz that Shrillary took last night in those three states, the media would gloating for the next 10 days. Not to mention what we would have seen in this forum!
I believe that Bernie has now taken 5 of the past 6 contests and the lead in delegates that Shrillary has over Bernie is now LESS than the lead that Trump has over Cruz (when only "won" delegates are counted).
Yet the mainstream media are pretending that last night was no big deal and that Shrillary's coronation is inevitable.
Well all eyes turn to Wisconsin now. Let's see how Bernie does there. I think he'll do well. He did win Michigan next door which was a big shock to the Shrillary campaign. A lot of Starbucks in Wisconsin. A lot of Starbucks. I think Bernie will do well. Everytime I walk into a Starbucks these days, I feel like I'm barging in on a Bernie rally.
She'll need a lot more than that. You must be adding super delegates to your count. Remember that super delegates can change their vote. Back in 2008, it looked like the super delegates were going to allow her to prevail over Obama. It wasn't until the end of May and the beginning of June that the super delegates began to switch from Shrillary to Obama, forcing her to finally concede. But she was fully expecting to get coronated at the convention despite having been beaten by Obama in most of the primaries.
The democrats have better candidates than Hillary and Bernie, but they are counting on Hillary getting the nomination and losing the general. That way they are done with her and Obama. Then they can start to repair some of the damage Hillary and Obama have done to their party.
No, Hillary did win 130 consecutive coin flips...
Feel it stolen from the BERN!!!!!! Young snowflakes everywhere will be offended.
Is this like one of those sci-fi flicks where you actually come from a different earth that is almost exactly like ours but in some ways totally different?
If Hillary’s super delegates were to switch to Bernie, then Bernie would actually be the one in the lead.
Bernie got about three quarters of the votes and a bit less than two thirds of the delegates.
Thanx for the info.
It’ll be interesting to see if bern can maintain his momentum
