Looking at the dysfunctional group of Democrat presidential candidates, Mike Bloomberg is planning, through strategically placed ads and a well-funded ground-game, to be the last man standing. His problem, though, is that he’s a bully, lacks charm and, as a recently unearthed video reveals, dislikes and disrespects the American people. American politicians used to pretend they liked the citizens whose votes they sought. Nowadays, though, Democrat politicians limit themselves to attacking their opponents; they also attack the American voters. The most famous example is Hillary’s "deplorables" statement:

The office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) requested that Facebook and Twitter take down a video that edited together moments from President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address with a clip of her tearing a copy of the speech apart. Both of the social media companies denied her request, citing different reasons. Iran has failed another attempt at launching a satellite into space. Iran attempted to launch a domestically-built "Zafar" satellite into space, but the rocket did not gain enough speed to reach orbit, according to reports. News of the failure broke on Sunday, two weeks after satellite imagery showed increased activity around Iran’s Imam Khomeini Space Center.

An attempt by Iran to launch a satellite into orbit failed Sunday, the Iranian state television outlet Fars reported Sunday evening. A Simorgh or “Phoenix” rocket was used in the attempt to deploy the Zafar I communications satellite. The launch failed to deploy the satellite into orbit, however, Iranian television reported, due to low rocket speed. "It was launched with success and ... we have reached most our aims ... but the Zafar satellite did not reach orbit as planned," Fars reported. Utah lawmakers recently proposed four different state laws that would infringe upon the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, which is seemingly in violation with the text of the U.S. Constitution, something the lawmakers would know if they had bothered to read the document. In response, several hundred supporters of the Second Amendment rallied outside the State Capitol in Salt Lake City on Saturday. A NYPD lieutenant was shot Sunday morning in the Bronx, just 12 hours after two officers were ambushed by a gunman in the same precinct. The NYPD said the gunman walked into the 41st precinct just before 8 a.m. Sunday and opened fire on several uniformed officers as well as a civilian employee.
