Utah lawmakers recently proposed four different state laws that would infringe upon the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, which is seemingly in violation with the text of the U.S. Constitution, something the lawmakers would know if they had bothered to read the document. In response, several hundred supporters of the Second Amendment rallied outside the State Capitol in Salt Lake City on Saturday.
Firearm owners carried weapons and signs to show their support of the Second Amendment. The new bills would institute universal background checks, red-flag laws, and eliminate private gun transfers.
The Daily Mail reported that one sign at the rally even condemned Utah Senator Mitt Romney. The demonstrator probably thinks a flip-flopping senator with no principles can't be counted on to protect gun rights.
As usual, there were no reports of violence, vandalism or trash left behind on part of the protesters.

I’m sure Romney showed up to speak to and support the 2A supporters... ah.... what... NEVERMIND. Utah needs to do something about their democrat senator. Screw a whole state.

Funny how the $ocialist “Initiatives” seem to always succeed, but conservative initiatives are so often kept off the ballot due some sociopath lawsuit.

I’ve been to MANY hearings, and what irks me more than anything else are all the CA drones being allowed to testify.
Somehow they are allowed in early and leave almost no seats for actual Nevada residents.
It’s the NEVADA legislature, and except for invited experts the out of state drones should NOT be allowed in!
Utah can expect the same, unless some brave R stands up for the Utah residents and demands that the out of state Bloomturd shills be removed.
Yup. We actually got in to one of the meetings a couple years ago and you could almost smell the money in the air. Then in the last election, the dems took just about everything. Super majority in the senate and one seat short of a super in the assembly. Not thinkin’ NV will ever go red again. Vegas and Washoe county can pretty much screw the rest of the state. Did and will.
We HAVE to take back the Senate this year.
“Gridlock” is FAR preferable to the current socialist trifecta.
Hopefully the current regime will have gone too far and we get rid of Gov. Sissy after one term.
Rally’s don’t protect Gun Rights, Votes protect Gun Rights.
If that doesn’t work, Guns will end up Protecting Gun Rights.
