(2 Peter 1:20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. (Isaiah 28:10) For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: (Isaiah 28:13) But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Catholicism would have almost no theology supported by Scripture if it weren’t for them cherry picking verses out of context and rationalizing direct disobedience to things like Jesus’ command in Matthew 23:9.

“Do you refuse to pray the Pater Noster?”

What even is that? Sounds like a scripted prayer of some kind, and we’re warned to avoid “vain repetitions”.

“how you prots go such lengths to twist scripture to support such lies.”

I’m thinking about all the totally made-up stuff in the RC denomination.

Must be where the Libs get their gender fluid folks from!

It’s amazing. If you ask these people about Manananggal, there are very few who DON’T about it. The half bodied one. They know. Very superstitious.

“ignoring some scripture when it doesn’t fit Luther’s lies.”

What has M. Luther got to do with anything? The ACTUAL church existed before the revenue-generating RC denomination was invented, and before Luther posted his Theses.

You can keep Luther out of it; he’s not that important in the big picture. Just stick to the only Truth, which is presented in Scripture, and the only relationship which is between yourself and God. Everything else is noise.

Obviously you accept 40,000 versions of protestant religious theology as started by Luther that do not adhere to God’s Truth but man’s truth. Yes, some of God’s Truth is taught by revenue generating churches.

It must be easier to follow a former excommunicated Catholic priest named Luther in his heresies and subsequent changes in protestant theology by man then follow God’s Truth in the Catholic Church as Jesus established.

One an believe the false teaching that Jesus did not establish the Catholic Church for everyone’s salvation, even though it is clearly stated in the Bible that protestants accept.Mt 16:18

Jesus warned about false prophets In Matthew 7, yet many are following th easy path that leads to destruction.

So unable to refute, they threaten with banishment. Everyone religious..........."except those who refute false cults". Those? We banish. RCCers constantly here and in every place on earth write all sorts of lies against and bash real Christians, even here, unstopped, daily in fact. You refute them? You are gone. Badge of honor, thanks. Keep your threats. You have a real Judge to stand in front of, with a banishment unspeakable, except you repent and believe in the LORD Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 4:10 [KJV])
We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

(1 Corinthians 4:11-13 [KJV]) Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day. How 'bout.............I do not care? Yeah, that's it. His, Bobby Z.

I thought about it, but since it IS found in the bible,
it really doesn't belong in the list.
Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word."
Then the angel departed from her. (Luke 1:38)

Wait… wut ?

Hold on a gosh darn moment there, Jeem….
Are YOU Saying… this idea of giving The Blessed Virgin a title…
Is found IN the Bible? This is where it started, in Luke?
The origin for addressing the Virgin Mary, in this way,
ACTUALLY started IN the Bible…

Whoa cowboy…. I knew about the “Mother of My Lord” saying for Mary and all…
But this changes everything… I’m gonna look into this…

HOLY Kecharitomene, Bat Man !!!

The spare consonants are confusing if you don’t know the rules.

English words aren’t always pronounced the way they are spelt (hence the spelling bee competitions).

In Polski it isn’t that way - that’s one of the few ways it is simpler than English (the very, very few ways).

So in Polish the spelling tells you exactly how the word is to be pronounced and vice-versa.

No B OUGH, C OUGH, T OUGH

Now as to the “consonants” - these are indicators of pronunciation:
“cz” is always pronounced as CH in cheese
“ci” is always pronounced as CH in chin
“rz” or “sz” is like the “sh” in sheep
“si” is like the “sh” in shin.

So a tongue twister like

“W Szczebrzysznie chrzaszcz brzmi w trzczenie”

is pronounced as
“V Sheshe b SH-IH shin-eeyeh H-sh-a-sh-ch B-sh-mee V T-sh chEn-ee eh”

It is in many ways a more precise way for pronunciation - ditto for the case-endings.

Though the most precise language imho is Sanskrit - it has 8 case endings (as opposed to Polish’s 7 and English/Spanish 2 or German 5) and is written with an ABUGIDA, not an ALPHABET - so better precision

“ Ethnic Poles are considered to be the descendants of the ancient West Slavic Lechites and other tribes that inhabited the Polish territories during the late antiquity period. ”

It's not that simple -- ethnic "Poles" as in those who consider themselves Polish and have had "polish" ancestry for the past say 200 years have varied ancestors

in what is now Poland there first lived Celtic tribes (you can find the archaeological remains in the Warsaw Archaelogical museum) then came Goths (the Celts supposedly moved, but a chunk remained, hence the prevalence of red hair), then came the West Slavs

Eastern Germans - Poles - Rusyni are in a genetic spectrum very similar to each other

the "Russians" are even more diverse - the core Russians being a mix of Finno-Ugric and Slavic and Baltic peoples -- this is visible in, say, Putin, with his slightly "chinky" eyes. But beyond that, the Tatars were absorbed into the Russian peoples (the Tatar princes became Russian nobles) and then came Baltic Germans, etc. etc.

If you dial back 1500 years all the "Slavs" were one "nation" - dial back 2500 years and the Slavs, Balts were one "nation" - dial back 4000 years and the Slavs, Balts, Iranic, Indic, Celts, Italics, Nordics, Greek, Albanian, Armenian etc. were one "nation"

You are correct and the flags and people have shuffled historically time and time again.

This is one fallacy of those dna tests…

I liked the polish people I met and got to know in the UK - and those polish descendants I knew in the States growing up..

My posting of Mary/Joseph sex life REALLY torqued off some Catholics!

Not just marital relations, which consummate marriage, (Mt. 19:4-6) and refusal of such can be grounds for an RC "annulment," but as being the (claimed) Ark of the covenant how could be even dare to touch her? (Numbers 4:15; 1 Chronicles 15:2; 2 Samuel 6:6,7) Or beheld his wife her uncovered? (Num_4:20; 1 Samuel 6:19) To me, that would be more of a credit to Joseph (though a Levite, but not the high priest) than Mary!

We (the members of the Body of Christ, i.e., the Church) were here before Luther and before the RD denomination. Neither is important to me.

I think Trump, as a Republican standard-bearer, may have changed a lot of this calculus (most notably among Mormons, but other groups as well).

I have virtually no contact with Mormons. I’m curious what impact you think Trump would have had on their political leanings.

I live and grew up among Mormons (and love them dearly), and the nation could easily witness the Mormon church’s disgust w/ Trump on account of his desire to close the porous southern border. The church seems to value mass migration (whether it’s because they can make converts, or they like the cheap labor, not sure). So the church hierarchy let it be known among the faithful that Trump had besmirched the immigrants with the words ‘murderers and rapists’.
In any event, the church is very top-down (i.e. ‘when the hierarchy has spoken, the thinking has been done’). Then you witnessed how Jeff Flake and Mitt Romney became mortal enemies of Trump, as did the Mormon wing of the AZ Republican Party — and our cause has been severly wounded by it.
Maybe that will help you understand why I surmise that, if the poll were taken today, since the Trump era, the Mormon calculus might look quite different than it did in 2014.

There are not 40,000 as you’ve been repeatedly shown
No denomination was started by Luther.

—{Yes, some of God’s Truth is taught by revenue generating churches.

That sounds exactly like Rome.

Demonstrated to be false repeatedly - to you. But when one has dementia…

I’m going to give this dog’s breakfast of yours a 1 out of 10 for identifying the Roman church as generating revenue while teaching little of God’s Word.

At least that was true.
