That's not the purpose of FR and not the purpose of our Religion forum. Trashing religion is not debate.
Those who cannot live with this are welcome to post elsewhere.

We are not in disagreement. A higher purpose would demand a better and fuller explanation. I don’t have it and don’t claim to have it. I was only hoping people would see that and drop that idiot liberal catch all to silence everyone who disagrees with you - bashing. Enough is enough from the left, but now conservatives? BTW, this has been pointed out to you before. It’s CATHOLICS who also use the term “Roman Catholic” as many signs outside Roman Catholic churches attest to.
Not to mention, that we non-Catholics do recognize the difference in teachings between Roman rite and EO. Many comments about Catholic beliefs, especiall regarding Mary, cannot be applied to the EO, who do not accept the same teachings about Mary as Roman Catholics do.
Nor do the EO recognize the papcy as the Roman Catholics do.
To use the general and generic term “Catholics” as a blanket term would not accurately represent their teachings.
You should ban ALL relgious posts since this is not a site that is—nor should it be—about praising or criticizing any religion that is not involved in terrorism or against our American ethos.
That is absurd. Ban ALL religious posts on an officially pro-God forum ? And one in which the owner has religious strong convictions which opposes Mormonism?
And certain religions, including those of certain RCs which propose a RC dictatorship are against or against our American ethos.
Human nature. Forcing one side to disarm invites even more vicious treatment at the hands of the previous victims. Missionary religions are an even bigger problem, as they see it as God’s law, not man’s law, that they convert the unbeliever for the sake of both their souls. Better to do away with the Religion Forum altogether.

Thank you. It was getting distressing to see the same cast of characters posting attack threads against Catholics day after day with the same misrepresentations of our faith, refusing to accept corrections from Catholics and ganging up on those attempting to explain what we really believe. I like reading religion threads when there is civil and honest discussion, but those threads have been getting crowded out by the anti-Catholic threads bumped constantly by the mutual hate society.
