Great big thank you from this Catholic mama! I have been reluctant to let my older kids come to FR to read some world news because I’m not ready for them to see all the Catholic bashing that goes on around here. I truly appreciate you making the effort to tone things down a bit. I’m all for healthy discussions about religion but some threads were just downright ugly. You can count on our continued monthly donation! Thanks again!!

Agreed. She was an abomination to the site and I hope she never comes back. He, at least, had a sense of humor and often hid his views behind simply resisting pieces of stories.

You mean as in letting everyone else pay your way? Isn't that a liberal tenet? Most Conservatives are ashamed of getting a free ride.
Personally, I am grateful for Mr. Robinson's decision, and I think the general parameter is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Ask yourself, "Am I treating this person like a dear Brother in Christ? Or even --- speaking practically --- as a Conservative ally, who continued close cooperation I value?"

That said, it would seem from your comments that your non-contribution to FR is not due to financial difficulties but rather to your personal choice to use the services offered by this website while inventing a bogus religious objection that I'm sure you do not apply to other goods and services that you enjoy.
