Actually, EASTER, as I am sure some people said already, is a PAGAN name for ASTARTE, the greek version or the English version of the pagan goddess astarte
Easter as a name or holiday was never ‘Christian’.
Jesus was crucified as the PASSOVER LAMB to take away the sin of the world, Easter is a spring festival to celebrate all things coming to life at spring
we should never celebrate Christs death, burial and resurrection at a pagan date, it should be based on the Jewish events that is centered around.
I dont mind Christmas, I dont think a person is a pagan for believing in Dec 25, look at the trouble I have convincing people Jesus was NOT crucified on a Friday! :)
But Dec 25 is the day that Israel was sent into captivity for.
Its the day that the children that were conceived at the raping of the virgin “priestesses” on the previous Easter are thrown into the red hot arms of the idol to die.
