GOP Sen. Murkowski says her 'confidence' in Supreme Court has been 'rocked' after justices she voted for appear set to overturn Roe v. Wade

Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski said on Tuesday that her "confidence" in the Supreme Court has been rocked after a leaked draft opinion suggests that the constitutional right to abortion would be overturned by conservative justices on the court — two of whom she voted to approve.

Murkowski, who is among the few Senate Republicans who support abortion rights, made the comments to reporters on Capitol Hill in the wake of the bombshell news of the draft opinion that shows the court is ready to overturn the landmark 1973 Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade.

The decision — if finalized — would throw out the constitutional right to an abortion.

Misguided, post-17th Amendment (17A) ratification Sen. Murkowski evidently doesn’t have a clue that, in stark contrast to the rights that the early states famously expressly protected in the Bill of Rights, it remains that the states have never amended the Constitution to likewise expressly protect the alleged election-stealing, elite Democratic politically correct “right” to murder unborn children.

In other words, the desperate Democratic vote-winning, “right” to murder unborn Democratic voters was scandalously legislated from the bench by post-17A, institutionally indoctrinated, state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices confirmed by constitutionally-challenged, post-17A senators like Murkowski imo.

Insights welcome.

Murkowski and Jeff Flake were the two Republican Senators on the Judiciary Committee that voted to delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation vote so the FBI could conduct a 7th investigation on him.

The Constitution is very clear abortion does not fall under the enumerate powers of the federal government. Therefore regulating abortion is a power of the individual states.

If leftist Democrats, and leftist judges, wish to make regulation of abortion a federal responsibility, the Constitution provides two processes for amending the Constitution. There is no provision in the Constitution for the Supreme Court, or lower courts to take enumerated powers from the states or infringe on the natural rights protected by the Constitution. That amendment power was usurped by the Supreme Court itself.

"There is no constitutional right to abortion."

The Constitution provides that an amendment may be proposed either by the Congress with a two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate or by a constitutional convention called for by two-thirds of the State legislatures. A proposed amendment becomes part of the Constitution as soon as it is ratified by three-fourths of the States (38 of 50 States). The Supreme Court has no role nor does the President. Roe v. Wade was a fabrication of the 1973 SC which was a republican dominated court.

Heck, we have known what causes it for a long time. It is the lack of an aspirin for a woman to hold in place between her knees!

Or the ability of males to keep it zipped.

Her opponent should blast ads reminding people that she voted for Barrett and Gorsuch who are planning in overturning Roe v Wade. Nothing will endear this woman to those who support Trump but this reminder will anger the Rats who will put her in through the weird ranking system.
