I know a Washington team is not very popular here on FR. Regardless of the classless fans on Sunday night, the Washington Nationals team won. Beating in succession three very good teams. Congratulations to the Washington Nationals!
I’m thrilled. It has been stated that if Washington wins that whoever is in the White House stays there another elections. I seriously heard that somewhere. I am sure the liberals will be saying something like “psych”. Either trying to ignore, change meaning, or hate the win.

The American League truly is the “Junior League.” Congrats to the Nats and best to the Astros on a season and lost season well played. Now I have to suffer through 3 more months of my coworkers talking about their boring game with maxipads and helmets as I long for Spring training.

I would add... they beat a very good team in the Astros. And won all four road games, a Series first!

And lost all 3 home games of course. There were no home game winners in this series. Simply amazing.

OK.......hope everybody is sitting down.......although I’d like to open a vein (not really) I have to congratulate the Nationals for their victory. They out batted and out pitched my beloved Astros but our guys will be back....:)

Well I guess its a sort of unique series but I’ll take my 1993 series with the crazy 15-14 game 4 that set so many records and the Joe Carter walk off in 6 anytime.
