The mullahs have a mad-on for the US, and have acted and continue to act on it.

The Founders wouldn’t have a problem annihilating foreign actors who murder Americans.

They wouldn't have stationed troops there. Go there, kick arse, come back.

Too bad the Third Crusade didn't have enough knights. With enough numbers, we wouldn't have to worry about saracens now.

Thomas Jefferson (Founding Father) brought it to Muslim terrorist in North Africa. Remember “The shores of Tripoli”. Tripoli, Algiers, and Tunis were doing what their forefathers had done for centuries. Attacking ships, taking slaves, demanding tribute. The US and Sweden, not major powers of their day attacked.

It used to be that if an American was harmed anywhere, the perpetrators had to beware. Now they thumb their noses and call us the Big Satan.

It’s spending that’s the problem, not taxes.

Other than the idea that 40% of US citizens pay no taxes, I don’t have problems with the tax cuts.

Partially fake news — the IDF said that there are Irani airforce planes in Syria, but the next statement is that Israel may attack those bases, not that the bases will attack Israle<p.Thanks to decades of sanctions, the Irani airforce is incapable of mounting a challenge to even Iraq, leave alone Israel.

“They WANT Syria to become a failed state.”

They’re seven years too late for that.

“Iran’s Revolutionary Guard would launch a missile and drone attack on Israel from Syria not some suicide mission with its Air Force”

Iran has been gearing up for a missile/rocket barrage strategy for a long time. The Revolutionary Guards have dedicated missile/rocket forces, that make up a big chunk of their force structure. The airbases are more for brining in the weaponry and personnel, and a place to base some of those assets.

I wonder if our recent cruise missile strikes might have been a test or demonstration that we can penetrate those new Russian air defense systems at will, so that they know not to fire when the attack on Iran comes (or we will have to kill them too). Professional courtesy to our Russian colleagues.

If the Egyptian air force during the war of attrition is any indication, that’s likely. But why hope for that? That makes direct confrontation between the US and Russia all that much closer, as it did during the war of attrition.

My daughter-in-law is a granddaughter of a Beirut Marine and my son was in the same unit recently. Does the movie address the attack?

To be truthful I don’t really hope for it at all, its just my heart wouldn’t be broken if it were to occur, I have utmost faith in the IDF if it were to happen.

It makes mention of it but the theme of the story is the kidnapping and the politics behind the scenes. It was interesting and I know the producers like to put their own twist on it but it was a good movie non the less.
