Breaking on twitter: Trump threatens VETO of Omnibus Spending Bill

am considering a VETO of the Omnibus Spending Bill based on the fact that the 800,000 plus DACA recipients have been totally abandoned by the Democrats (not even mentioned in Bill) and the BORDER WALL, which is desperately needed for our National Defense, is not fully funded.

they don’t give a damn about ANY of their precious special interest groups, but merely use them as vote fodder...

Turning the DACAs and all illegals into voters, 75% plus who will vote for the Dims, is the Dims #1 priority. Saying the Dims don't care about them is 100% irrelevant since the illegals and legal Third World immigrants are absolutely necessary for the Dims to remain a viable political party.

I didn’t hear that, but... huh? How do THEY know who Mattis will be calling unless Mattis talked to them and told them? And if he did, he should be fired immediately.

I agree. Trump has successfully eliminated many leakers...but some remain. Mattis is too subservient to progressive leftists as far as I’m concerned.

Fox News channel just reported that MATTIS will be calling Trump about Trump’s threat to veto. Mattis is once again carrying the Swamp’s water for them!

Twinkle Toes Mattis will be gone after the midterms. He’s done nothing but undermine MAGA.

Few people, even here on FR, understand the things President Trump is teaching Americans. In this case, the lesson is: What you DO speaks so loudly that I can’t hear what you SAY.

He’s teaching us that the Dims do this ALL the time, so wait to see what they actually DO before you make a decision.

I believe that you are missing the political strategy of blaming a veto on the lack of DACA

A strategy that will fool no one. It's being overplayed. Just veto the bill and there is a long list of reasons that can and should be cited.

Trump’s action on the Omnibus spending bill will determine whether he serves a full term

You are delusional. Sorry.

Trump’s response comes entirely naturally and effortlessly to him. We see it as a strategy, but in reality it is simply his appropriate response. To dig any deeper is not necessary and works to confuse anyone who does not take it at face value.

Why on earth are you bringing up Ted Cruz? Is he living in your head or something? I see no manner in which he relates to the currently discussed topic.

Tantruming Cruzlims have a habit of popping up at times like these to pile on POTUS. Unsurprisingly, they can’t be bothered to notice the FBI criminal assaults on their fellow Americans.

Twitter now uses advanced ChiCom tactics to actively censor us. Good luck with that.

They must not be doing a very good job at it because there's plenty of pro-Trump, pro-MAGA comments over at Twitter.

Anyhow, I'm not giving up my voice on the popular internet sites so easily, just to retreat to some conservative echo-chamber backwater nobody has ever heard of. The people pro-Trump conservatives need to reach are spending time at Reddit, Twitter, Youtube, Facebook. That's where the people are.

It was amazing to watch Bush go from a 92% popularity rating to losing the 2nd term to a sleazy hillbilly.

I don't know why he couldn't see it. People had forgotten the war, and the media had started the drumbeat of "The Economy is Terrible!" and they had been pushing Carville's "It's the Economy stupid." line.

Bush naively threw away his chance at a second term with that astonishing blunder.

Apparently it is hereditary, because W Bush threw away peace in Iraq by agreeing to Paul Bremer's stupid plan to bar Bathe party members from government jobs, and to toss all Bathe party members out of the Army.

I knew the instant I heard it announced that it would throw away our victory and spell years of subsequent war.

Two Presidents, father and son, making obvious blunders that would have far ranging and serious consequences, and neither of them could see it.

I see the “3d chess” positioning for that, but am concerned that he won’t quit on DACA until the Left actually does something about it. We want him to reach the point of legitimately giving up on the issue (in a way that makes them suffer), not to keep badgering them until they DO provide a solution and he can’t say “no” to it.

This world needs engineers far more than it needs entertainers.

I'll put my writing skills and intellectual curiosity against your dumb aphorisms any day.

And I'll put MY writing skills and intellectual curiosity against YOURS any day.

I’m sorry. I don’t understand. Obviously, the RATS have a desire to turn illegals into RAT voters - we agree there - but how does Trump pointing out that the RATS are all words (and no action) when it comes to doing this “irrelevant”?
It seems to me that if he can turn some of these potential voters against the RATS (which he has, if you’ve been listening to the news) that’s a GOOD thing.

Now, you can argue they shouldn’t become voters at ALL, and I can certainly understand that, but if it’s going to happen I’d rather they voted for us rather than the Democrats.

That would be a good response to an evil spending bill. Using helping the military is not sufficient reason to condemn the rest of the nation to a huge disaster.

Please Mr. President throw the evil bill back in Congress face. Members of that corrupt body should all be in jail for submitting such an atrocity to you for approval.
