Chess, not checkers... and yet the Democrats had their every fantasy fulfilled while the Republicans get absolutely nothing. Again. And again. And again.
I am simply acknowledging a reality with which I disagree. The vast majority of people in the US think that "born a citizen" equals "natural born citizen", and they consider the matter closed.
I don't think Cruz would have won had he gotten the nomination, but he wouldn't have lost because of his natural born citizen status.
Yes, I am greatly disappointed. If there is a silver lining to this cloud, it is the possibility that Trump outsmarted them by getting funding so that the Military can build the wall.
Of course it's too early to tell, but I am holding out hope that we may get something worthwhile out of this fiasco.
