Does God’s view of sex really bring harm to people? Let us ask some simple questions: What would the world be like if everyone followed the biblical plan for sex, engaging in sexual activity in a committed, lifelong relationship with someone of the opposite sex? Would there be more suffering? Or would there be less? Would we have more intact marriages, or more broken homes? Would there be more fatherless homes, or more involved fathers? Would STDs, teen pregnancies, and abortions increase or decrease?
The answers to these questions are obvious.

Harsh, but I think also true.
I admit that a lot of men need to improve their approach to life. The stereotype of the Millennial hipster male is not a good model, and the problem is older than the Millennial generation. A lot of men are not real men anymore, and this is bad.
But I feel over and above any problems on the male side of the equation, women over the past 100 years have gone down a very, very bad path. I’m not sure I know any happy women. They all seem bitter, angry and resentful. In large part they always get what they want. But they want the wrong things and life just makes them more and more miserable as they get more and more of what they think they want.
But I think it is a very hard sell to convince women that they would be happier if they settled for significantly less.

What evidence do you have that he was not? I’m an expert on the bible and I don’t know of a single prohibition that Jesus put on warfare. Christian certainly had no issues continuing the normal brutal nature of war.

The nature of warfare did not change until 1648. Crediting Jesus for a short lived change 1600 years later is silly.

The way to determine if a religion or a belief is valid: imagine a world in which everyone followed it faithfully. Would that world be an ideal place to live in?

I go about my day and never think of the STAGGERING questions that are out there.
The answer may seem obvious but not what most people think. It's very possible the answer is we would not be here on the internet asking this question because we as a species would have been extinct many thousands of years ago. All of man's sexual behaviors both moral and immoral serve a purpose. Our basic programming says do it, often and with as many as possible. Our higher level programming moderates the former. The balance of the two ensure we survive. That's my take on it anyway.
Was the father responsible for the actions of his son? Obviously not legally, and there wasn't much he could do about his ditzy ex who wanted to date and shoot and look cool. But there's no other way that tragedies like CT can be prevented. Someone must take responsibility for those situations, and like it or not, he was the one.

Because there is no "time" in Heaven, only the "now". God created time for our universe, not His own.

No, there is no "rule change" for God's perpetual morality. We humans have always had a conscience and knew what was wrong. The New Testament merely declares the standards that we should have held all along. For example:
“Why then,” they asked, “did Moses order a man to give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?” Jesus answered, “It was because of your hardness of heart that Moses permitted you to divorce your wives; but it was not this way from the beginning. Now I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman, commits adultery.”
