HEAVY ALABAMA TURNOUT
LAURA INGRAHAM RADIO | 11/12/17 | SELF

Posted on 12/12/2017 6:55:41 AM PST by chiller

Experienced political Alabama columnist Jeff Flowers reports extremely heavy turnout, early, in rural highly evangelical areas.

He seems to have an objective view of the race. Predicts 7% win for Moore. Out of state liberal money poured in...Moore outspent 14/1.

This isn’t like early voting where you have a central location
and maybe 100 precincts voting there. This is very localize
to each precinct and if you see buses it most likely will be
some church, civic club, etc offering rides to their local precinct.

Much harder to do and that is why the Dems always oppose voter ID.

That is the key issue, getting GOP voters out to vote.

Those were State elections and the GOP got caught flat footed.

We haven't lost any national seats.

Agreed! We must win to keep the Trump agenda going and to send a message to the Establishment of both Parties.

Yes and a precipitous drop in white support

Black turnout in 2008 and 2012 potus elections was roughly 65 percent

Blacks are 27 percent of bama and lets say 100 percent voted Jones

65 percent turnout of 27 perecent is 18% of General vote

Whites are 70 perecent more or less and voted 90% gop lately

If 65 perecent of them turnout that’s about 46 perecent ofvthe vote total and 90 perecent of that is around 43 perecent

43 percent versus 18 perecent just judging by racial patterns

Turning that on its head is planetary alignment

Not happening

Alabama unlike Carolina or even Tennessee is still hugely native southern from antebellum stock and Christian

Being lectured by elitist folks who deride The Word is like having a Prince Albert piercing

Not many takers

Roy wins

If I’m wrong

That's what was worrying me - RATs passing out walkin' round money to certain, uh, "urban" churches.

The Twitter robots are posting madly now, screamingGET OUT AND VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRAT “.

Which tells me they are not getting the numbers they need.
Twitter troll farmers don’t work for free, you know.

Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill said indications are his earlier projection of a 25 percent voter turnout today was pretty accurate.Merrill said areas of strong turnout that favor one candidate will likely be offset by strong turnout that favors the other. The turnout for the Aug. 15 primary was 18 percent, and the turnout for the Sept. 26 Republican runoff was 15 percent.

Turnout was about 64% in the presidential election so i don’t know if this 25% is considered light or heavy.

Montgomery-Birmingham-Mobile, then university centers of Tuscaloosa (Univ of Ala.)-and Auburn-Opelika-Tuskegee (Auburn) are certainly democrat heavy.

It’s finals week and beginning Christmas vacation so I doubt the university students are focused on the election.

Yep, they're either studying or hitting on underage students.

I went around noon to my polling place in a suburb of birmingham. Low turnout. Admittedly it is a special election which usually doesn’t get much of a turnout. But it is lower than the primary turnout — at least at noon in my polling place which is only one data point.

If that’s true, then we need to shout from the roofs & hilltops, and get every single Alabamian to cast their vote for Judge roy Moore. Go Moore, Go Trump,,,,Make America Great Again!!!

[he’ll face an ethics investigation the minute he’s sworn in if not before.]

If he is clean, which I hope he is, Moore will welcome an ethics investigation to destroy the fake accusers. There needs to be some big lawsuits and prison time for promoting or making false accusations.(including attorney AllRed and CNN)

Discovery would be fun to watch.

"Am I the only one here sees this?"

I saw more Blacks at the voting place than normal....normally none, I saw six this morning. This is a small rural voting precinct.

I went shopping after voting and saw a large number of Blacks with a 'I Voted' sticker on their lapel.

That's my experience this morning in SW rural Alabama. (about 20 miles southwest of Mobile)

A Beautiful breezy , sunny day.
