April Ryan, White House reporter for American Urban Radio networks and CNN analyst, demanded President Donald Trump’s Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders provide proof she baked a pie she tweeted a photo of on Thanksgiving Day.
It started on Thursday with Sanders doing what many Americans did that day–post a photo of their Thanksgiving Day meal, “I dont cook much these days, but managed this Chocolate Pecan Pie for Thanksgiving at the family farm!”
Ryan commented late Friday morning making clear she was not joking, demanding Sanders provide proof, and included a jab at Sanders asking reporters earlier this week to state what they are thankful for, “Show it to us on a table” and “I am not trying to be funny but folks are already saying #piegate and #fakepie Show it to us on the table with folks eating it and a pic of you cooking it. I am getting the biggest laugh out of this. I am thankful for this laugh on Black Friday!”

I was listening to the radio yesterday or the day before and heard a host talking about another anti-Thanksgiving “trend.” He said people were taking videos of themselves coming to the Thanksgiving table, with all the food, plates, etc, laid out and flipping the whole table over. Can you imagine? Where did these pod-people come from?
I’m fuming right now just remembering hearing this.
A message I hope gets to Sarsh Huckabee Sanders:
Why don’t you back another pecan pie and present it to the journalist at your next press conference? Tell her you baked it yourself just for her. Then invite her to bring it to your office for a cup of coffee and a piece of that pie. It should humble her in a friendly way. And she will have actually proof that you can bake a pie! (I’d think of that as “calling her bluff”. Make her eat her words!) Maybe you could even work it out to have her picture taken with the President. You can win her with kindness.
I am afraid what I would do to anyone dumb enough to do that would get me on the national news.
The thing is no one is forced to observe Thanksgiving, or forced to believe one thing or another about it. They just need to leave those of us alone that do choose to observe it.
Liberals that crazy are probably no longer welcome at gatherings anyway due to their past craziness. That sort of crazy doesn’t just happen overnight.
Forget that...did she carefully mulch and create the very soil used to grow the tree?
If not, it’s bogus.
I bet she rammed the hydrogen and oxygen molecules together by hand.
