Donald Trump shuns Japanese food for American burger

Japan might be routinely hailed as one of the best places in the world for food but that has not inspired Donald Trump to deviate from his strict all-American diet, Independent reported.

There was not a trace of ramen, sushi or tempura on President Trump’s plate at a casual lunch with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Sunday.

The billionaire property developer instead relished in eating a hamburger sourced from American beef during his first trip to Japan as President.

Mr Trump chose to have his burger well-done as he has become so famed for doing with his steaks.

President Trump played golf with Mr Abe at the Kasumigaseki Country Club - alongside professional golfer Hideki Matsuyama - on his first day in the country. According to an excerpt from the book “Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J Trump”, during a trip to Japan back in 1990 Mr Trump said he would not eat "f***ing raw fish" and instead devoured a hamburger at McDonald's which cheered him up massively.

I don’t blame him, and I only like meat prepared well done, too.

Well, glad he got American beef.

I would love to buy American beef, too. But thanks to the repeal of country of origin labeling here in the US, American consumers have no bloody idea where the beef at their grocery stores comes from.

Hailed by who?
I like Korean food better.
And French food.
And Spanish food.
And Italian food.
In my opinion, Cajun food is the best on the planet.

When I lived in Japan I had some good food (don’t get me wrong) but I also tried a lot of things that are unpalatable.

You must believe me, since I have lied only to new girl friends in the past.

The first cruise I did way back in 1988, was a 7 day Caribbean on Regent Sea ship operated by Regency cruises. I thought I had died and gone to heaven! Unlimited marvelous food from dawn to midnight! I packed on 9 lbs in 7 days!

But ever since, I learned to eat mostly seafood and stay away from too many deserts and walk a lot, so I never gain more than 3 lbs on 7 day cruises. Actually the gain is mostly muscles due to walking several miles a day. My next cruise is on Oasis of the Seas, which is very large. Walking around the ship on the promenade deck twice = 1 mile! The muscles gained are easy to lose after returning home and be forced to eat home cooking.

Did you see the TV show “Monsters inside me” where some bloke who ate sushi made from raw/undercooked fish, had a parasite take residence in his body, and causing havoc?

“grass fed beef”

That’s what people used to eat until they discovered that corn-fed beef is immensely better.

Then the greentards forced us to burn the corn in our gas tanks, and some evil marketing genius came up with the idea of pretending that “grass fed” is a good thing.

Yuck. No. I just about gag at the thought of eating raw fish. Maybe because I have seen a number of dead, bloated, maggot infested fish washed up on Lake Erie over the years.
