President Trump responded to reports that special counsel Robert Mueller is about to indict people in his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election by pointing the finger at Democrats.
Trump said the investigation into whether his campaign colluded with the Kremlin is phony, bad for our country, a witch hunt, and evil politics.
He added the news that Hillary Clintons campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid for the unverified dossier alleging scandalous behavior by Trump has united Republicans.
Never seen such Republican ANGER & UNITY as I have concerning the lack of investigation on Clinton made Fake Dossier (now $12,000,000?), the Uranium to Russia deal, the 33,000 plus deleted Emails, the Comey fix and so much more, Trump tweeted.
Instead they look at phony Trump/Russia, collusion, which doesn't exist. The Dems are using this terrible (and bad for our country) Witch Hunt for evil politics, but the R's are now fighting back like never before. There is so much GUILT by Democrats/Clinton, and now the facts are pouring out. DO SOMETHING!

Don't you know. Trump's frustration with Session really means that he's not frustrated with Session.
It's part of the sting operation.
This one will be written about in the FBI case files for ages. The most elaborate sting of the 20th century.
To do that he'll have to turn on Comey...They're buddies and partners in crime...Doesn't make sense to me...
Now, let's consider what that actually means. For one, it seems most of FRs best commenters are hanging out on this thread. You know, the ones who have a clue, are smart, can compose/write, probably come from professional backgrounds, are or have friends who are accomplished. And yet ... no one - at least to my knowledge - has successfully run for a major political office.
Trump not only ran, but won. Against all the deep state uni-party stooges, against the finance-media-education triumvirate, against all conceivable odds of the rabid American hating leftists. Now, was that just luck, hard perseverance, or some kind of uncanny supernatural talent?
If you choose uncanny, supernatural talent, a true genius of his time, then how does this comfort with surface level observations of discord? Of Trump being stymied and frustrated by a series of check/mate moves executed by the deep state?
To me, it appears that if one were to take your position, then it would logically follow that Trump isn't a genius, but just a regular guy who was elected to a position beyond his (or anyone's) capabilities to effect change against entrenched enemies of the republic.
The reason LS's proposition appears to be a kind of movie fantasy is because over decades, we have seen the complete erosion of the law. It would never have reached this level if periodic abuses had been corrected as they occurred during each administration. But they weren't because the deep state has been in complete control since Eisenhower. Any switch back to what used to be considered the norm is going to seem like a fantasy at this point due to the cumulative nature of the abuses.
And yet, history is not static. We are the most stable government on earth, and yet there was both a revolution and civil war. GB, the next most stable, had a civil war where the king was executed. So, even the most put upon people will eventually cry "enough".
My gut and faith is with Trump; at some point, the worm must turn.
If what I don’t see were all that great, Trump wouldn’t have to demand that *something* be done. When you have to issue the command, “DO SOMETHING,” it’s because you desperately need someone to do ***something.***
>>>>.”I dont know why hes doing it.” - LS
>>I hope what LS says is true, but this is the most glaring flaw in the scenario.
***********************************************************
Didn’t years ago Mueller and Comey conspire together to pull this same trick on then AG Ashcroft, to recuse himself so they could take over and subsequently entrap Scooter Libby, or something to that effect?
The argument appears to be based upon Mueller changing from a nefarious to a benign character for some unknown reason. Barring a spiritual experience, it is doubtful this zebra changed his stripes.
Pinging you because I forgot to include you in my previous post, #146.
If this all transpires, where-can the Clintons and Obamas fly to without an extradition treaty ? Kazakhstan?
>>Are you suggesting that Trump interviewed Mueller and approved his appointment as special counsel, rather than Mueller being appointed by Rod Rosenstein?<<
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
YES. Freeper LS tipped this off weeks ago, and I am now reasonably convinced it is the case.
This could be so delicious, if Mueller whom the Dims and the FAKE NEWS have been praising for months, turns out to be the instrument of their destruction.
Heheh.
>>Some of the Fusion guys were connected with the WSJ. <<
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Thank you!
I knew there was a self-serving angle for the sleazy, globalist WSJ to suddenly “appear” to be supporting Trump.
Heheh.
If only Manafort, or Manafort and a couple of low level associates, are indicted, does that still mean the movie-fantasy is real?
Im not buying the story that Trump hired Mueller.
Of course Trump didn’t hire Mueller. That was Rosensteins doing, and Rosensteins alone. Trump had no idea it was even in the works. The tag team of Sessions and Rosenstein blindsided him.
“Of course Trump didnt hire Mueller. That was Rosensteins doing, and Rosensteins alone. Trump had no idea it was even in the works. The tag team of Sessions and Rosenstein blindsided him.”
Because Trump, who said in the 2nd debate that he intended to have his AG appoint a special prosecutor, is clueless. And Sessions didn’t hear the debate anyway. And the two of them couldn’t possibly be smart enough to have planned this. And Rosenstein had never ever consulted Trump and Sessions who are clueless anyway.
Yep, that’s the ticket!
You do know that Trump tweeted today complaining about “the lack of (an) investigation”, right?
‘Trump calls appointment of special prosecutor ‘the single greatest witch hunt’

President Donald Trump on Thursday blasted the appointment of Robert Mueller to be the special prosecutor overseeing the investigation into Russias meddling into the 2016 election, calling the probe the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history.
He also accused former President Barack Obamas administration and the campaign of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton of committing illegal acts, complaining that his campaign will now face the scrutiny of a special prosecutor while neither his predecessor nor 2016 opponent ever have.
With all of the illegal acts that took place in the Clinton campaign & Obama Administration, there was never a special councel [sic] appointed! the president wrote on Twitter on Thursday morning, without elaborating further on the illegal acts he accused the Clinton campaign and Obama administration of committing.
snip
‘The Department of Justice announced Wednesday night that former FBI Director Mueller will lead an independent investigation into Russian efforts to interfere in last years presidential campaign as well as into the possibility of collusion between the Kremlin and Trump associates. The White House had regularly objected to the idea of a special prosecutor, characterizing such an appointment as unnecessary.’
>>Because stuff like this never actually happens. Its only in movies and books.<<

Once upon a time ...
A businessmen with no government experience, who had never even run for office, was elected President.
He did so, in part, by smacking the news media right in the face.
He sometimes cussed, even in front of audiences packed with Evangelicals ... just to make the point he was NOT A TOOL OF THE ESTABLISHMENT.
Then he was backed by great evangelical leaders.
He was supposedly anti-woman ... yet WON amongst married women, and WON amongst white women.
A Nobel Prize winning economist (Krugman) said on election night the stock market “might never recover” from Trump’s winning. Heheh. That fool has been laying low ever since.
The President took his first international trip to Saudi Arabia, where he has created a world-altering movement to quash militant Islam. (Impossible!)
He is slaughtering the globalist agenda right-and-left, like ending USA involvement in Paris Climate HOAX and TPP SCAM.
His opponents, one-by-one, are rendering their bitter Opuses on Senate floor and announcing retirement.
And so on.
This storybook is still being written.
I’m not trying to rush you, but I do hope that eventually you will respond. It’s Sunday night. Supposedly we will learn tomorrow morning who Mueller has indicted. If it’s only Trump associates and none of Hillary’s, does that still mean that the movie-fantasy is playing out as predicted?
Meanwhile back to real life.
Our president tweeted today complaining about "the lack of" an "investigation on Clinton made Fake Dossier (now $12,000,000?), the Uranium to Russia deal, the 33,000 plus deleted Emails, the Comey fix and so much more
Do you agree with our president that there is a lack of investigation on all of the above mentioned Democrat scandals?
Yes or no.
