Alabama Senate Poll: Roy Moore, with Majority Support, Takes Commanding Lead over Luther Strange.

A new poll shows former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore with a commanding lead over Luther Strange, the Washington establishment backed candidate, heading into the GOP primary runoff for the Alabama U.S. Senate seat left open this year. The poll from JMC Analytics provided to Breitbart News ahead of its public release shows Moore with 51 percent, a majority, supporting him, while Strange trails nearly 20 points behind with just 32 percent—and 17 percent are undecided. Moore’s commanding lead comes after he outperformed polls to finish around 39 percent in a multi-way primary this past Tuesday. Strange finished the first round of voting with just under 33 percent, and this poll seems to indicate that Moore is the only candidate gaining more votes while Strange is stuck with a ceiling of what he got on primary day before the runoff.

If Moore makes it, I know some liberals whose brains will explode. McConnell will see his power shrink. And Trump will smile.

There is more in play here than the Trump endorsement. Strange’s appointment to the Senate is clouded in controversy surrounding the disgraced former governor of Alabama.

Not surprising. I would have been shocked if Brooks voters went to Strange.

Will be even more shocked if the Dem gets more than 35%.

Trump spend money? Where did you see that? I don’t think Trump spent a dime on Strange.

McConnell Senate PACs.
I guess I should have said McConnell’s Senate PACs
and Trumps endorsement.
That is what I meant to say, at least.

Big Luther stuck at 33%.

McConnell/Barbour will not only have to turn out the dead vote in big numbers, but have to have them vote multiple times, as well as making sure any Dims who voted in the Republican primary vote early and vote often for Strange in the runoff.

“I strongly suspect Trump will be pleased as punch to see Moore win.”

Oh I think he will. He is doing it as a favor to Sessions in regards to Strange.

Trump’s endorsement doesn’t matter.

I’m in Alabama, just outside Montgomery (the capital).

I can tell you, most people ‘round here LOVE Donald J. Trump, but they won’t vote for Luther.

EVERYONES saw the deal Bentley gave him—to keep the governor out of jail, and that was the Senate seat.

Most folks I talk to give Trump a lot of leeway on this, even though they won’t follow his endorsement.

It’s as if they know Donald is NOT serious.

One big reason I (and many others I’m sure) voted for Trump is how he tweaked the media’s nose. Moore is also like this, and that’s why I am voting/have voted for him.

Heck, I’m a Catholic, so it ain’t because of the religion thing. I could not care less about a candidate’s religion (unless it is Islam). Just get out there and vote for America.

America needs help to make it great again. Roy is the ticket, not crooked Luther.

Nope. In last week’s election, you had to chose Republican or Democrat. That went on your registration. You cannot vote in the runoff UNLESS you voted Republican on Tuesday’s past primary.

Moore will take the seat. No need to contribute. Save it for Kelly Ward.

If you didn’t vote in the primary you’ll be able to vote, correct?
