Not quite correct

Lincoln originally belonged to the Whig party since the Republican Party didn’t exist yet

Born in Hodgenville, Kentucky, Lincoln grew up on the western frontier in Kentucky and Indiana. Largely self-educated, he became a lawyer in Illinois, a Whig Party leader, and was elected to the Illinois House of Representatives, in which he served for eight years. Elected to the United States House of Representatives in 1846, Lincoln promoted rapid modernization of the economy through banks, tariffs, and railroads. Because he had originally agreed not to run for a second term in Congress, and because his opposition to the Mexican–American War was unpopular among Illinois voters, Lincoln returned to Springfield and resumed his successful law practice.

Reentering politics in 1854, he became a leader in building the new Republican Party, which had a statewide majority in Illinois. In 1858, while taking part in a series of highly publicized debates with his opponent and rival, Democrat Stephen A. Douglas, Lincoln spoke out against the expansion of slavery, but lost the U.S. Senate race to Douglas. In 1860, Lincoln secured the Republican Party presidential nomination as a moderate from a swing state, by being the second choice of a grand majority of convention delegates whose first choices, due to factionalism, could not garner enough votes to win. Though he gained very little support in the slaveholding states of the South, he swept the North and was elected president in 1860. Wikipedia

Try bing. The pictures they use are beautiful

Bing is the default when you use Microsoft Edge. Unfortunately, Bing lacks some of the functionality of Google, and its search algorithms are not as good.

I used to use Yahoo! and I have Yahoo! for email, but, unfortunately, Yahoo! has partnered with MSNBC, so opening up the Yahoo! page gives an indigestible mass of liberal hogwash.

Everyone needs to grab up all of the history books (preferably earlier than 1980) before they’re replaced with even more revisionist history.

Also, if you search "American inventors" all of the images are of African-Americans (except for one of Edison). I guess this is diversity?

I thought this was a joke but it's not.

You are correct, google has advantages. When a bing search does not produce what I am looking for, I then go to google. But for my basic needs Bing seems to get what I am looking for 80-90% of the time.

Google search Lincoln and look to the site of the results.

The summary for Lincoln lists the info I quoted.

The Left's objective to re-write history is based on most Americans being startlingly ignorant of American history and many Americans acceptance as fact of whatever is presented on the internet or in the movies or on television.

It's a winning bet for the Left.

Lincoln was elected in the Union Party in his 2nd term. He was not a Republican.
