Debate is raging on social media about President Trump's decision on Wednesday to reverse an Obama-era policy and ban transgender individuals from serving openly in the military, but how did service members perceive the policy in the first place?
A Military Times/Institute for Veterans and Military Families poll of 1,664 active-duty troops conducted on a voluntary and confidential basis as President Barack Obama's term was coming to an end last December found significantly more respondents believed it to be hurtful than helpful. The Washington Examiner's David Freddoso reported on the survey upon its release last January:
Service members are divided on various initiatives by Obama. On balance (four-to-three in favor), they view the repeal of "don't ask, don't tell" as a good thing, but they frown upon mixed-gender combat units (two-to-one against) and transgender service members (more than three-to-one against).
More specifically, when asked how the policy allowing transgender individuals to serve openly "affected military readiness," 41 percent said it "hurt" while 12 just percent said it "helped."
Then-Defense Secretary Ash Carter announced the change to allow transgender soldiers last summer, roughly six months before the poll was taken, saying in a Defense Department press release, "This is the right thing to do for our people and for the force."

Most people don’t have the ability to think for themselves and form an opinion, so they say what their boss told them to say.

The fact that transgenders join the military for only one reason has become apparent. They want the government to pay for their transition. It costs about 100k to do it and states don’t want to pay for it.

That may be the case with some of these freaks, but believe it or not, most of them don’t want to go through the genital surgery.
They just want to be more “oppressed” in the Neo-Marxist hierarchy. More “special”. The only way you can do that if you’re a white male is to adopt a perversion and wait for your masters to make it not only acceptable, but celebrated by force.

The Military requires Teamwork, not grandstanding Mental Cases who think it’s all about them. Look no further than the ridiculous Pride Parades and how they are constantly pushing the in your face envelope.
Need perspective, watch an episode of the Show about the Transgender kid Jazz Jennings. Don’t agree with the premise that a Child / Teenager thinks they are the Opposite Sex and you’re labeled a Hater.
Dare to mistakenly “mis-gender” the Kid or one of their Trans friends, you will be confronted for your unintentional abuse.
One other thing, the confused Boy “Jazz” actually looks like a fairly attractive Teenage Girl. If he looked like any of his Trans “friends” there would be no Jazz Show.
Of that I am 100% sure.

That’s what I think. Like alot of trannies, he had that dark quality that always seems to cling to them in my experience. And I couldn’t help but think: is he the doctor’s main squeeze?
Transgenders are mentally ill and emotionally unbalanced and do not belong in the military.
Well everyone was being accommodated,gays were allowed in,they can have sex,straights can have sex with the women,transgender can get together.

Of course. Trump next needs to get women out of combat, which he should have done at the same time he got rid of trannies. Get the fuss over with all at once. Gays should go too but that would take reawakening the DOMA.
Brings-up the current story/video of the police sergeant stopping someone during an assault and being knocked on her ass/out of the fight by a man's shove. Now has back and neck injuries. Real police protection there. UMass had until recently a 4 foot 11 inch, 90 pound Asian female police captain. Useless in a fight and the butt of jokes, but she was wicked PC.
Transgendered = Exhibitionism run amok.
