Right now we are experiencing a real "7 Days in May" scenario taking place in this country.
Trump can hold the government hostage by refusing to fund it. If he isn’t willing to do that then he isn’t going to be successful. He hasn’t really thrown many punches yet
This is an attempt at a bloodless political coup d’etat. Never tried before. They are playing with fire.
A peaceful secession by California would relieve the political pressure. #CALEXIT.

When are conservatives going to show some backbone and push back on all fronts? I suspect NEVER, because that requires time and effort, and perhaps (gasp) risk.
Unless the right uses these REAL soon, there will be nothing left of this country. At the moment we’ve no functioning government, few trustworthy individuals in that so-called governing body and a worthless media doing nothing more than stirring up any hornets nest found. It was said years and years ago “A house divided cannot stand” The d’Rats have infiltrated this house like termites and they’ve feasted on everything. This country is on life support and no paddles to be found Just who would believe anything coming from the MFM, the halls of DC at this time? We have turned on one another....the D’rats plan all along? How easily they have completed the downfall of our America. DJT cannot be expected to fight and govern alone, with ALL these turncoats against him and US.
They won't use the Army or any violence. They will make it "legal" with an impeachment, regardless of whether he committed high crimes or misdemeanors. They hope to remove him, put in Pence, sit down with Pence and have a little chat, and Pence will be on the team for his own good.
If this moves to an impeachment, we need to be there, in D.C., in the millions. The only thing that can stop this without violence is for them to see a few million people surrounding Capital Hill and the government buildings, waiting for the vote.
You are making the assumption that the Liberals / Leftist base their thinking upon logic. Anyone who has ever tried to convince a Liberal basing their disagreement upon facts has quickly (or not so quickly in some cases) come to the conclusion that leftists do not base their actions upon logic or reason, but upon Political Correctness and "feelings".
Well, that and the position that anyone who is a Conservative, or who simply disagrees with them, is not only wrong but evil. Just trying to convince a SJW for example that what they are doing is incorrect in any way will get you all manner of labels hurled at you in very short order. Civil wars are messy beyond comprehension. They are forcing one on us. We should not pretend that it’s going to be glorious.

I am very well aware of that fact. If they can unseat Trump and Pence, there will be no peace until one side is dead.
But here’s how civil wars go for the little people like us: we try to live our lives normally while the fighting occurs somewhere else. At some point, we either choose to bring it to our town by launching pre-emptive attacks against the other side (who are also just people hoping it never comes here too), or they will do it to us. Where do you live? Where do you work? Where does your power come from? Where do you shop for groceries? Where does the grocery store get it’s stock?
You might have a very peaceful location, but things that support you may be in areas that are not.
