All the “researchers” need to study is whether African-Americans change to “proper” grammar when talking to non-African-Americans. If that was true, what likely conclusions would “researchers” draw?

“It is a founding assumption that, if believed, one must act differently than we, the institution and its agents, have up to this point,” Inoue claimed. While overt racism is usually easily identified, more elusive are microaggressions, forms of degradation which manifest on a subconscious and casual level. As the statement reads “Racism is pervasive. It is in the systems, structures, rules, languages, expectations, and guidelines that make up our classes, school, and society.”

What he said.

This is idiocracy, but with a mean component behind it all.

OK, so when my economics students mislabel Supply and Demand curves and I correct them, it's racist. I can see where this is going...

Minimum standards and conventions developed to facilitatie communication and professional, scientific and financial teamwork (in other words, civilization) are not necessary.

Education today is a luney bin and I'm thisclose to quitting my teaching job...

It’s racist to declare that reading books and studying and getting good grades is “actin’ white”.

By labeling any attempt to require any standards as racist they are actually keeping minorities in chains. It makes it impossible to rise above a certain level. I think that is the plan of the leftest. Use minorities as shock troops but to keep them from actually improving their lives.

A press release put out by the University of Washington’s Writing Center argues that “there is no inherent ‘standard’ of English,” and that pressure to conform to proper American grammar standards perpetuate systems of racism.

“Linguistic and writing research has shown clearly for many decades that there is no inherent ‘standard’ of English,” claims the writing center’s statement. “Language is constantly changing. These two facts make it very difficult to justify placing people in hierarchies or restricting opportunities and privileges because of the way people communicate in particular versions of English.”

Regardless of premise, the sentence structure used by Dr. Inoue in this Press Release is flawless and therefore adheres to all the "proper American grammar standards."

My only conclusion is that Dr. Inoue himself must be racist and is so dumb that he has hoisted himself on his own petard.

It is racist of the University of Washington to assume that ethnic minorities are incapable of using standard American English. This is a good example of what George W. Bush would have called “the soft bigotry of low expectations.”

University of Washington Declares Proper Grammar Is Racist

Asserting that a particular race of people are too stupid to learn the normal grammar of English, is what is Racist.
