Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The Last Word,” Washington Post columnist George Will discussed his departure from the Republican Party and the decision by Fox News not to renew his contract as a network contributor.
Will suggested some of it was attributable to his refusal to support event President Donald Trump while he was a candidate. But later in that segment, he predicted some Republicans would change their opinions on Trump once he starts putting his policies forward.

Heard similar as early as July 2015 and EVERY month thereafter.
No path to 1,237 delegates. But he got over 1,700 on the first convention ballot.
No path to 270 electoral votes. But he got 304 and 2 defectors.
No George we have just turned on you and Kristol.
If George Will were a Conservative, he might bear listening to - as it is, he’s now Schumer’s echo.....

George Will. Isn’t he the doofus that tried to be a sports commentator but sucked. Then he became a political commentator and, guess what, he sucked at that too!
What will be his next position, right hand to Darth Soros? Bet he will suck at that as well!
This is another case of a pundit “predicting” what he hopes will happen.
Trump’s efforts to keep his campaign promises have well exceeded what I actually expected.
IMO, it is probable that the responsibility for promises he is unable to fulfill will be *all* the fault of the worthless and semi worthless Republicans in congress.
George Will, or Curious George as I call him has never been right about anything he has said about Donald Trump. He never will be.

When hell freezes... George doesn’t know why we love Trump and he can’t make that kind of statement..on what he does not know. None of them understand any of this... They could if they wanted to.. but it’s beyond their brain waves.
If the whole of congress turned conservative, I’d not trust them .... I can’t imagine a way Trump could lose this voter... what there are left in Washington are not worth a dime... they have no honor and no way of getting back any respectability in the next generation. It takes a LONG time to gain trust.. and they don’t have that kind of time.. Term Limits!!
Won’t work! Conservatives are hardening their stance around Donald Trump more every day as he is fulfilling his campaign promises. He is a man of honor unlike Schumer who will change with the political wind.
Stop back this summer and see if conservatives have turned on him. George Will is becoming a leftover journalist who is now grasping at straws trying to regain his status. He too will be disappointed this summer. Right now, those who voted for Trump are sitting, watching the democrats scramble to gain some standing that they lost on election night. They are not doing too well, are they?
Trump is an iron-willed man who, ignoring them, will just keep plodding along with his own agenda. By summer, the protests will quiet. The democrats will settle down and try to reassemble the party. Just one suggestion, try putting together a platform without abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism. and any other immoral stances.
Miserable people are those who blame others for the consequences of their own decisions.
