“It’s about to blow. I think there’s going to be confrontations.”
A few weeks ago, President Donald Trump signed his executive order that halted immigration for only a few months and from only seven countries until the government could develop a better vetting process. These countries have high Islamic terrorism occurrences, so it makes sense for our national security, right?
The left pounced on him, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau put on a big show countering Trump’s actions. Trudeau said Canada will welcome everyone no matter their faith and blah blah blah.
Well, the welcoming spirit has started to diminish over the same concerns Trump has expressed. Surprising, eh?
The CBC spoke with members of one small town in Manitoba about the influx and the worry that has spread among its citizens.
The town of Emerson, Manitoba, houses 671 people and sits right on the border of North Dakota and Minnesota. Many asylum seekers have made their way to Emerson since it’s on the border.
Senior town official Greg Janzen has given many interviews due to the increase of asylum seekers. He told the CBC he gave “95 television interviews over the last two weeks.” But a lot has changed in those two weeks:
“It’s starting to get concerning, because the numbers are growing,” Janzen said.
The community continues to help those who find their way into Emerson, but Janzen stated more of the citizens have started to worry “that someone, possibly with a criminal background, might be able to sneak in among the asylum seekers and into their community.”
Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
That poor guy surrounded by the government and NGO females telling about how they “assured him” government is there to help his community. Linear processes and a whole lot of words that really don’t speak to the actual logistics and what happens after ‘government’ leaves.
That guy has to spout the Open Heart Canada mantra but you can see in his face he’s worried. He’s given over 95 interviews and he can expect those interviews to translate into a SIGNIFICANT increase of “asylum seekers,” AKA illegals in the US, for his community. It will never be the same again.
Run buses from Brownsville to the Canadian border. I watched dozens of buses meeting planes there taking the illegals to who knows where. I was working at the airport and had a birds eye view. This went on all day every day, 3 years ago!
You and me both. I'm just now getting around to saying it out loud, but he sure sounds like one of us, and he's well enough informed that he's getting his information off of a conservative news aggregation site.

That was really shocking - I wouldn’t trust those officials to get me a proper cup of coffee much less protect my community! A hard-eyed ethnic-type feminist, a shifty-eyed, frightened mayor and two young girls wearing uniforms. And I thought America was bad.
Emerson is in an area that would have likely voted Trump had it been in the US. I wonder what the reaction would be in Toronto or Montreal though...
Return them to their “home country”, which is not the USA.
