A few weeks ago, President Donald Trump signed his executive order that halted immigration for only a few months and from only seven countries until the government could develop a better vetting process. These countries have high Islamic terrorism occurrences, so it makes sense for our national security, right?
The left pounced on him, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau put on a big show countering Trump’s actions. Trudeau said Canada will welcome everyone no matter their faith and blah blah blah.
Well, the welcoming spirit has started to diminish over the same concerns Trump has expressed. Surprising, eh?
The CBC spoke with members of one small town in Manitoba about the influx and the worry that has spread among its citizens.
The town of Emerson, Manitoba, houses 671 people and sits right on the border of North Dakota and Minnesota. Many asylum seekers have made their way to Emerson since it’s on the border.
Senior town official Greg Janzen has given many interviews due to the increase of asylum seekers. He told the CBC he gave “95 television interviews over the last two weeks.” But a lot has changed in those two weeks:
“It’s starting to get concerning, because the numbers are growing,” Janzen said.
The community continues to help those who find their way into Emerson, but Janzen stated more of the citizens have started to worry “that someone, possibly with a criminal background, might be able to sneak in among the asylum seekers and into their community.”
Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
Yes, and in the video you see the Canadian equivalent of a worthless government official bloviating about “health and safety concerns” and how they are studying the problem. By the time they come to any conclusions, Emerson will have 5,000 people wanting to be cared for by the 671 real Canadians who live there. Good Luck Canada, you’re going to need all you can get.

Their few folks are running ragged trying to tend to these Somali and Ghanaians wandering into town looking for free food and lodging, and then starting a ruckus in the middle of the night, dragging their few volunteer emergency responders (who have day jobs) out of bed about every night.
The pompous liberal immigration advocate at the table gave all kinds of high words - but during questioning it came out that she only provided ten toiletry gift bags as support - it is on the townsfolk to take care of the arrivals. A group of 19 just showed up (no doubt asking what was for lunch).
A few hundred in a few weeks has them sweating. The RCMP rep said that they had picked up 441 in the past year. I wonder how they would bear up to American-style flows of hundreds of thousands? Will they soon have to be called racists and bigots when their budgets are overwhelmed, and they call for help from increased crime?

Canada will welcome anyone? Ha ha ha. Can’t even get a visa to Canada if one has a DUI on their record. But bring in the illegals and muslims. Have at it Canada. Then there will be a saying, “Oh Oh Oh Canada, what have we done”.

You will note that the Feds are not running to Manitoba
to distribute resources or funds to take care of the assylum seekers.
Great way for otherwise undocumented apprehendable jihadis to flee from ICE into Canada from the Twin Cities area.
Canada has come to think of Trudeau as an idiot. He will soon be de-elected.

This is a real issue for a country with Canada’s small population; many cities are already filled with unassimilated foreigners, and a mass arrival will quickly change the demographics.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the 671 “real Canadians” are foreigners as well...
