Washington (CNN)Embattled White House national security adviser Michael Flynn resigned Monday night, two sources tell CNN. His departure came just after reports surfaced the Justice Department warned the Trump administration last month that Flynn misled administration officials regarding his communications with the Russian ambassador to the United States and was potentially vulnerable to blackmail by the Russians.

Here we go. Trumps support will plummet along with his political clout. Now those mushy middle voters will believe Trump stole the election with help from the Russians and want him impeached. Even worse I am going to really hear it from stupid Liberal family members.

They were in office. Flynn was calling as a civilian with zero job except maybe on the transition team but still.....and doing it without the Boss’ knowledge. Stinks to high heaven.

Totally agree. This is bad becuase now the left has their narritive that they will use to sway public opinion against Trump and convince the stupid average American that this is proof Trump had the inside with the Russians.
I won’t be the least bit surprised if Trunp is down to 15% approval and is driven from office. The left is a powerful and nasty bunch and they always succeed.
I am supremely confident that there are still a few steps left bwtween a relatively minor member of the administration resigning and impeachment.
