Washington (CNN)Embattled White House national security adviser Michael Flynn resigned Monday night, two sources tell CNN. His departure came just after reports surfaced the Justice Department warned the Trump administration last month that Flynn misled administration officials regarding his communications with the Russian ambassador to the United States and was potentially vulnerable to blackmail by the Russians.

I honestly think if Flynn had been honest he’d still be there in spite of the CIA whatever. I’m confident he only went down because of the story he told Pence.
Well he admitted he lied to Mike Pence about the conversation, and now the Justice Department has concerns that he could be blackmailed, so it sounds like he should resign.
The Republicans did not stop Hillry in the 90's, when she demanded all those FBI files... talk about people susceptible to 'blackmail'!!! I hold the mindless and spineless republicans responsible for Hillry's lawlessness. Hillry is what she is and apparently will always be... I take comfort that our Creator keeps perfect records, and He will pass out the judgment, for what really counts, eternity.
This dust up with Flynn, demonstrates that people administering the law and justice turned a blind eye to Hillry's and her gang's lawlessness.
I’m not watching the “news” but I can predict what’s going right now. I know what Trump’s foreign policy is. If he doesn’t follow through I know it’s because he’s not in control. It’s easy to see all the lifetime criminals are fighting Trump for control of foreign policy. He really should clean house at state and justice
If Flynn didn’t go, it would look like the Admin was covering for a someone who can’t be counted on to remember critical information.
A man at Flynn’s level, simply can’t forget to include information, about anything. His position is high enough that he doesn’t have that luxury.
Trust is imperative, and he would be a distraction now.
Resign. Move on. Appoint new.
Pence had the opportunity to take Trump out before the election during the failed republican coup and he didn’t.
Yup. I like Flynn but he lied to Pence. He should have said he spoke with the Russkies about sanctions but didn’t ‘t know it was verboten.

If he did it to stop the media feeding frenzy, he did it in vain then. Because it will not stop the media feeding frenzy, it will only increase it. Nothing that Donald can do, short of killing himself will satisfy the media. Their goal is to destroy the United States of America and usher in the One World Government. If they must to accomplish this import every diseased and healthy muslim into the United States of America, so be it. They will also eliminate every visage of Patriotism and Nationalism in the United States of America. We are in a fight for our lives and they are winning. Both Donald and Patriots are going to have to recognize the main stream media for what they are: The number one threat to the security and well being of the United States of America today. Since the media and the voters installed the muslim impostor in the White House, Themedia has done more damage to the United States than all foreign enemy Nations combined.

Flynn’s misstatements (presuming they were only that) to Pence gravely undermined his credibility, and that would have undermined Trump’s credibility. At that point, one might easily think he had to go.
But Trump and Pence were standing by him, apparently. Conway had just said he had their confidence. But something new was known about very shortly thereafter. NOW he’s fired.
No...the first of many, many scapegoats, that the DEMS/lefties are using to bring down Trump.
