Your comment was decent until you engaged in foul language.

I have my doubts if McCain is involved. Looks like kabuki. Not serious.

ELIMINATE THEM>
Just get rid of them.

The president can do it himself. Thomas Jefferson eliminated many circuit courts.

I was just wondering if this is possible...if it is DO IT NOW!!!

If I read it correctly, somewhere, the 9th Circuit has vacancies on it that will be filled by Trump. Be great if they could put 4 that lean Right, break it up and gerrymander the others to different courts, turning it to the Right.

**********************************************

If they break it up and add a new 12th district court, he will be able to add a lot more than 4.

Flake and McCain. The bill has to originate in the House.

Or does that matter anymore after 0bamacare?

any attempt to break up the 9th will be viewed as retaliation for Trump’s loss in court”

And so? Actions have consequences. We are saving the Republic.

Then send an even bigger message by having someone like Ted Cruz introduce legislation to expand SCOTUS members from 9 to 13 allowing President Trump to choose 4 more Scalias to pack the court with enough conservatives to cause a century of lasting conservative effects.

Even at the height of his New Deal popularity, with the great majority of the country solidly behind him, Roosevelt's "court packing" scheme was shot down. I don't want to see Trump waste valuable political capital on something that will go nowhere and serve only to bog him down.

Yes, I know, there's nothing magical about the number 9 for Supreme Court membership. But even so, inflating the court is a non-starter.

There must be a point at which their failure rate would automatically impeach them. A failure rate like theirs in any other area would certainly show their incompetence.

I’m not sure these morons can even tie their own shoe laces.

The republicans better do something about it. No mercy on the Pubs if they don’t.

Good point, but the President does not need to respond to Cruz’s introduction of the legislation or the amendment. The Senate would not even need to call a vote on it.

But the news of its introduction could, like the news of FDR’s proposal, cause the judiciary to back down.

But the context was different.

FDR’s proposal to pack the court was not shot down, it was withdrawn by FDR because he got what he wanted which was the SCOTUS siding with him on his New Deal programs.

“I recall they tried this once before. But they caved when they got blowback.”

They can blame it on Trump. He doesn’t give a rat’s ass about blowback from the left.

I wish that we the people still had the visibility that we had when Trump was running. . . The media could not deny the crowds at his rallies nor the support that came out for his policies. Now, all we see every other second is some radical wacko group causing havoc and holding up their ugly signs. Why can’t we the people assemble on a large scale in every big city and small town in this nation, AND PROTEST THE NINTH CIRCUS? I think our President needs some moral support right now. Visible support. That the media cannot ignore.

" Republican Senators Jeff Flake and John McCain have introduced legislation to “carve six states out of the San Francisco-based court circuit and create a brand new 12th Circuit,”"

McCain? Really? This is a ploy. He will back down and get some more camera face time to say why he changed position for the good of the Judiciary or the Party or the Country.

McCain is a typical GOP elite fraud. And no, I don't care one bit about his service or being a POW. As we used to say in my Navy, "One Aw-shit erases all Atta-boys." We all know how many "aw-shits" McCain has.

Go away McCain and take your bootieboy, Linda, with you. BTW, Johnnyboy, so love the photo of you carousing with the terrorists. Sure that expedition made us all safer. You're a dickhead and you've overstayed your welcome. Retire already. Shessh.

"Judge Michelle Friedland was born in Berkeley, California. She graduated from The Pingry School in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in ecology and population biology in 1995 from Stanford University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. She then studied philosophy at Oxford University as a Fulbright Scholar, returning to California for law school.

She received a Juris Doctor in 2000 from Stanford Law School, graduating Order of the Coif and second in her class. She served as a law clerk to Judge David Tatel of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and then served as a law clerk to Justice Sandra Day O'Connor of the United States Supreme Court. She completed a two-year lectureship at Stanford Law School before entering private practice.

I bet flies won't even land on this snowflake...
