Could Christianity See a Revival in Europe in the Distant Future?
Vanity

The Pew Research Institute predicts that there will be more Muslims than Christians in the world in the year 2070.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3023597/Muslims-outnumber-Christians-worldwide-2070-Islam-major-religion-increase-faster-worlds-population.html

The German philosopher of history, Oswald Spengler, proposed a cyclical view of human civilization, where civilizations rise and fall according to levels of religious observance. For the first 280 years of Christian history, Christianity was illegal in the Roman Empire. The Roman pagans were as ruthless in their persecution of Christians, as the Muslims are today. But Christians were able to overcome the mighty Roman Empire and take it over.

Muslim refugees are leaving their Muslim countries, because there is no true freedom in Muslim nations. If Muslims become a majority in Europe, European nations will become oppressive Muslim nations, and there will be no free countries to run to as refugees. The world will plunge into a dark age of tyranny.

But historical evidence shows that the love for freedom is a biological part of human nature. In a world without free nations, the same human instinct that led Muslims to seek freedom in Europe, will lead them to look inside themselves. There are 5 billion Bibles in circulation in the world, and the Muslims will not be able to destroy them all. Self-reflection on the part of Muslims, in a world where many Bibles are in circulation, may lead many Muslims to convert to Christianity.

Perhaps we may see a powerful revival of Christianity in Europe 500 years from today, which will overwhelm and defeat Islam, in the same manner in which Roman pagans were defeated.

A small number of Muslim refugees are already converting to Christianity. They may form the seed of a future revival of Christianity, after Europe enters a Muslim dark age.

Yes, but it would not be so much of a revival as a first flowering of Christianity - a wave of conversions in other words - because most of Europe has been essentially pagan in culture for decades.

And we’re not far behind on this side of the pond either.

Islam is a political system, not merely a religion. Its societies operate like the former Soviet Union - control of all thought, action and word.

Islamic societies that are developing in Europe are like cells of the former Communist Party. They replicate the same thought pressure that exists in the migrants’ former country.

If Muslims are taken out of that environment, perhaps there is a chance

As a very first step - State support to this parallel society and islamic political system must end, in terms of unlimited migration, and particularly in terms of all nanny-state financial and welfare support.

The 280-year comment of existence being ‘illegal’ is false. The Romans allowed virtually every single region they conquered to continue their internal religious situation. The Jews, the Egyptians, etc....all continued their practices allowed by public standards, to continue under the Roman Empire.

But historical evidence shows that the love for freedom is a biological part of human nature.

I think that it's misleading to take something specific to our time and place and extrapolate from that to "human nature."

The concepts of liberty and Constitutionally limited government that many Americans take for granted are a relatively recent innovation that has largely been limited to Anglo-American culture and (to a much lesser extent) other Western European countries. There were no such concepts in Medieval and ancient Europe, much less in the Middle East and Asia. Most of civilized human history has been characterized by monarchs, tyrants, and theocrats, with very few people complaining about it or even recognizing that there may be an alternative way of doing things.

As to your main point, of resurgent Christianity emerging in opposition to Islamism, it may be possible in places like Eastern Europe or among Middle Eastern Christians. However, most Western European nationalist movements today are secular, and their opposition to Islam is motivated by the threat Muslim theocracy poses to secular civil society.

>>>The 280-year comment of existence being ‘illegal’ is false

Most works of Christian history say Christianity became legal with the Edict of Milan, which was passed in 313 AD.

Sorry but not a chance in heck.
France, Spain and Portugal churches are being crushed by the cost to maintain their Cathedrals.
Decreasing membership and increasing costs is a death spiral.

This is more likely a lie being floated by pro-immigrants to justify more Muslims coming to the EU.

There will be a Christian revival during the Tribulation. 500 years from now we will be in the Millenial Kingdom.

The creation and existence of pro-Christian, pro-conservative political parties, worldwide, would help to revive worldwide Christianity, too!

Christianity is dying most places due to leftists. Muslims are simply the people who will inherit what the leftists have already destroyed.

To save the west, we need to first destroy the left. Then we need to put churches back in charge local communities. And finally we need to reestablish the biblical patriarchy to restore our families. If you want an example of this happening look to Russia and I think soon Hungary.

The left must be resisted and eventually destroyed or our civilization is lost.
