Excellent! I’d like to see a steep hiring ratio for the next eight years. Perhaps one new FedGov hire for every three (six?) who leave from bloated departments.
All of these Executive Orders are great. Will they later be turned into law? Or will they remain EO’s that can be overturned?

Interesting point that aligns with a trend in the Contracting world...at least my slice. We bid on several RFPs recently where one stated goal was to lower the contract cost by lowering the median age of the contract workforce.

The Election has consequences for our enemies around the world and here, and it is bringing about wins for America/Americas.
Exactly. They probably need departments to determine what functions get cut and which functions stay or maybe get added in some cases. Then determine force levels and which people to cut. Maybe the 10% force reduction takes care of it or maybe they need to root out much more than the 10% to get rid of partisan hacks and then hire new blood in certain places. Who knows? That's what they will need each department to analyze.

Obama made SO MANY new regulations before he left, all through really, trying to make it tough to dismantle. You can expect a flurry of executive orders overturning previous executive orders , and implementing new policies of their own. Nothing to worry about. It’s good in fact.

If federal hiring is frozen just for one four year period, we will have a significant reduction in federal spending due to attrition. This is great news!
