White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus on Sunday blasted the media, accusing reporters of trying to delegitimize the presidency of Donald Trump. "The point is not the crowd size. The point is the attacks and the attempts to delegitimize this president in one day," Priebus said on "Fox News Sunday."
"And we're not going to sit around and take it."
Priebus's comments come a day after the president railed on the media and accused reporters of lying about the crowd size at his inauguration.

I will never understand why W didn’t defend himself and why he let the press control the narrative.
I love that epithet: carp-faced!
George Bush was a liberal Republican. Also, not very bright. He let some idiots persuade him to invade Iraq. Destroyed that country - and his own presidency. I’m so glad Trump has made it acceptable for Republicans to admit that Iraq war was a huge mistake
While it is a losing fight to take on the media I’m glad they are trying. Maybe the White House should set up their own TV station broadcasting directly to the people?
Allowing bullcrap of all kinds to go unchallenged is a major reason why you have armies of the unnatractive members of the female gender marching around aimlessly, railing incoherently against the fact that they are no longer in total control of their delusional narratives.
Why do you think it’s a losing fight? Trump won in part because people are fed up with the media.
I understand. He kept going on about how the head count on the mall was meaningless and yet he couldn’t stop talking about...the head count on the mall.
These people have no talent for an inner-directed life.
To rail, or rail against: To attack with harsh, often insulting language: abuse, assail, revile, vituperate.
Wallace and Mike Gallagher are evidently close friends as Gallagher has him on weekly or he did before I quit listening. For me it was his voice; Wallace is a walking chalkboard with nails.
Trump and the Republicans need to bust up the media monopolies into little pieces.
Most protesters arrested Inauguration Day will face felony rioting charges, federal prosecutors say

I just looked it up. There are several, one called “Mr. Sunday’s Soups” and another about dinners.
Gee. How sexist. The little Mrs. in the kitchen making soup for Mr. Sunday.....
Journalists-talking heads who engage in continuous-habitual take-down of Donald Trump should be deprived of Republican Party guests and material. Feeding the beast is both hazardous and unnecessary (since ultimately they make up their own news).
The leftist media wants to control the information that We the People receive. They want us to believe that the cultural marxists Democrats views and events are American values, when in truth they are not! They are the minority view. We have a duty to put the media down hard when they lie. That is why we love President Trump! You have oppressed us long enough. You are done oppressing up with fake news!
I wonder if Spicer is going to begin each daily briefing with a “correct the record” segment.
I’ve long been skeptical about Priebus, but I’m starting to like this guy now.
Spengler: "Three weeks of press treatment and the truth is recognized by all. At a minimum read Edward Bernays "Propaganda." At least read the WIKI article on Bernays. Bernays is the father of modern propaganda techniques. He by himself applying his thoughts changed American society.
Reflect on the NAZI Goebbels; "take a lie make it big enough, publish it often enough and people will believe you."
Whenever Republicans try to take the “high road” the Democrats always see it as being defensive and a sign of weakness.
Strength and resolve are the only things that earn respect.
