BTW, the League of Nations collapsed without the US. Whether the UN would or would not remains to be seen. But, it is unlikely that it would survive with even a semblance of legitimacy.
From the way you seem to think, you must believe that the EU and Euro will/should survive. You seem to have this belief that some institutions are too big too fail or that big institutions shouldn’t fail. The Brits should have stayed in the EU to “reform” it, right?
If we withhold funding the UN will have to go somewhere else on their own. What is the rent for that building they’ve been stinking up for the last few decades?

For starters I do NOT appreciate the Redskins owner Dan Snyder.
Few years back an NFL announcer was in a discussion and Dan Snyders name came up and the guy said Snyder was a jerk and he wouldn’t work for him- no matter what (Well, something like that)

This bill should be voted on, just to raise the issue of our participation in the UN. But I think it’s not the best way to terminate our involvement. I would rather we completely defund it, but keep our vote until the organization implodes on it’s own.
