Just curious, don't you need tickets or invitation to attend any of the inaugural balls?
I understand that Trump is having only 3 inaugural balls, whereas odingo had 10 inaugural balls in 2012. Not sure about the number of odingo's inaugural balls in 2008
But of course! What do you expect of the Donald?

It is ironic that Donald Trump has raised $90. Million for his Inauguration, and it will probably turn out to be an abbreviated affair. I say that because he hasn’t got many performing acts scheduled, and because half the day will be spent just avoiding the rabblerousers. I hope I’m wrong.
I was wrong about the campaign in general. After Trump appeared in Chicago, Ill, and San Jose, Ca. I thought the majority of his big city stops would be just as wild and violent, with police standing by passively watching Trump supporters get beaten up by the score. That turned out not to be so. There were plenty of protesters throughout the country, but after San Jose, far less so. It was like the hottest air had gone out of their balloons. Maybe Soros stopped writing checks to Rent-A-Mob.
I think you do need invitations. However there is a ball where you can buy tickets, which should be interesting - for all the deplorables - tickets cost though:

No matter what happens, the TV talking heads will be running around with cameras trying to capture any forlorn scene they can manufacture to tell us all how lame the Donald is in their eyes.

I stupidly made my non-refundable reservation the day after the election and wound up in Arlington. I should have waited for all the Clinton peeps to cancel theirs! The hotel room supply got much better after I made my reservation.

Weather persons lie a lot but the high temperature forecasts are in the 60's in fly over country next week.

I was invited to The All American Ball. You can purchase tickets for that one. Unfortunately, I’m unable to attend.
There are many balls going on, however only a few official Gala’s that Trump will attend. Those you need to be invited to.
You sound like the grinch. Why don’t you google the balls, gala’s and get back to us. I already know of several good shows.
