There’s a new kid in town. Brotman can enjoy the event, historic step to making American great again after the epic failure of Obama. Brotman’s been around enough he should appreciate and welcome the need for change. If not, good riddance to him. Besides, why was he the only one doing it for so many years? What sweetheart deal did he have? Drain the swamp is already underway!
Absolutely. They serve at the pleasure of the president. Get rid of all of them. Time from some new blood. And make a point of no Harvard or Yale or other Ivy League schools.
Bring in the young guns, Larry King.
Has anyone said : “you’re fired?”
A “Greatest Generation” Snowflake? I guess they can and do exist.
It’s time for the geezer to realize he needed to pass the torch 20 years ago. How selfish of him. That, and he’s a “GD Democrat” ( LBJ reference).
He should have Vince Sculley do it.
The inauguration isnt about you, buddy (the announcer, not the poster).
Democrat self-centered snowflake.
KC Royals World Series champs in 2015. Chiefs have been to the Super Bowl twice and took the gold once.
Nothing huge compared to teams with larger payrolls but not shabby to make playoffs with no real stars on our team - just good playing, some very good coaching and GREAT loyal fans!
ENTITLEMENT:
Smash up more of it...!
He’s 89? Maybe it is time to retire?
Another example of the mainstream media not even fact checking their own articles. They are so quick to get a hit piece out on Trump, no matter how mundane. Next we'll be hearing about some blind White House gardener being made to retire.
If he was “destroyed”, why is he still alive. The LIB loser is the World’s Oldest Snowflake.
At his age was/is his voice okay to announce anymore?
Good grief. At 89, one should know the run is OVER. No one is entitled to a perpetual job after 75, not even the pope.
Several points...
1. I tend to agree about going with tradition. Maybe there is more to the story, though.
2. I would put no age limits on this. If the man is capable and willing, I don’t see what his age has to do with it. True for any job.
3. I didn’t even know there was an “inaugural parade announcer”. Would anyone even notice if this person was not on the job?
4. I wouldn’t recommend going into that line of work. From what I hear, there are not a lot of job openings, the work is seasonal, and there is not much opportunity for advancement.
Much ado about nothing.
A network or local broadcast will probably ‘hire’ him for the broadcast, as an affront to PE Trump.
He still hasn’t got over being rejected by Eleanor Roosevelt.
He was probably waiting for Trump to ask him in order to tell him to go to hell.
