Poor old guy, probably has the hots for Hillary.
The Inauguration is going to be a place of high excitement and high anxiety. The anxiety will come from all the Hillary drones trying to hog the cameras and ruin the ceremony. Maybe Trump felt this was no place for (extremely) old men.
Plus, he may have promised that job to somebody else.

I think it’s a shame. They should have let him do it. That’s a tradition I don’t think needed to be blown up. The man is 89 years old, and it may have been his last parade anyway. There are a lot of people who don’t want anything to do with Trump, and this man was excited to announce the parade for him.

Every newspaper and TV network in the country will be calling Brotman for an interview - - so they can use his words to trash Trump.

Any excuse that give the press a chance to kick Trump will land a person on the front page and top of a network news in a VERY loving way. This isn't the last we'll hear of Charles Brotman.
